If say more of a shiny smooth material, but not necessarily noisy. It’s definitely not like cotton khaki pants. My husband loves his. Fits TTS.

If you want a jacket with the zipper on the wrong side like a woman’s, then go ahead and get an XL. I sent mine back and bought the TBMPOY Men's Windproof Bomber Jackets Lightweight Running Windbreaker Outdoor Golf Fashion Coat. I really like it. I’m 5’8 and 180 and got the large. The XL should fit you fine.
