Reciprocating Saw

I wanted to get a battery powered reciprocating saw for my husbandwho manually saws small tree limbs in our yard. It is great. It is small and powerful. There is a vibration that someone might have to get used to.It is not meant to be for big jobs or four larger tree limbs.There are two batteries that come with it which is very convenient. It takes about an hour to charge and we get about 1/2 hour of sawing time.There is an LED light when is it when it is difficult to see perfectly.There are four sawblades for wooden metal. It is very easy to change another blade.I highly recommend this saw for light jobs. They are also at a great price

This thing is a beast...I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something that won't get used very often, but this saw blew me away!....Very solid, very steady, very dependable...Came with two batteries and a charger, as well as a small selection of blades. I had to saw through a few exhaust pipes and it cut like butter, the job was done in no-time. Overall I am so impressed with this saw which, in my opinion is just as good as a $200 saw, for a fraction of the price. I would recommend this saw to everybody

It works pretty good if you use it for a long time the battery won’t last too long, other than that it works good

Charger was non functional. Was able to charge batteries with a spare Hychika Drill Charger. Vendor has been non responsive to my detailed charger replacement request for nearly two weeks now. Will update review if they engage my request.Update October 18, first attempt to use Hychika Sawzall on 1/4" mild steel bolt. Drive shaft broke and let go from eccentric drive plate. ( see picture) Looks like poor weld. Thing was brand new, trying to contact company now. Will advise on resolution, still haven't got any word from company on bad Charger since July now!

The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a relatively inexpensive reciprocating saw for casual use. It also had to have a battery, since the locations I was planning on using it often doesn't have an electrical outlet close by.The Hychika reciprocating saw works perfectly for my needs.It comes with one battery pack, where I was wondering if it would be enough. So far it was always lasting the whole day, so there was never a problem with running out of juice. And even if the battery was ever low. The charging process is pretty quick with getting it up to over 2/3 capacity. (The battery has three indicator lights, showing how full the battery is)

The media could not be loaded. Was able to cut through this small dead trunk but ended up with a bent blade. Fortunately it comes with extra pieces of blades so I just took the bent one out and popped in a fresh one. Also, the body gets hot than I'm comfortable with. Maybe it's really works like that, but it just gets excessively hot for me

It works well what I needed for I'm an older woman and I needed something light to cut down branches in my yard. Very pleased

It is a fast charging unit like the ad says. It holds the charge well too! Durable. Comes with a storage bag so everything stays together. Good price for the quality.
