Candles arrived on time and securely packed. Candles look great and the flickering tip looks real ... very nice.Unfortunately, the remote control does not work. Tried several new batteries in both the remote and candles with no effect.The remote is a major reason I purchased this set as candles are not easily accessible.Will be returning the candles to try another set.

These actually look like real candles. The flame is beautiful and actually casts some light up against the wall behind it.

Air conditioners messes with my real dripless candles, so decided to try these. These are pretty realistic looking and will save money in the long run. Have given them as gifts and everyone seems to like them.

Added 2 more to my collection - very realistic and batteries last a long time. Highly recommended.

I was gifted several of the name brand candles like this (that cost twice the price) and wanted a few more but saw the Ksperway brand ones were so much more cost effective!!! They are indistinguishable from the other brand in luster and quality. I also love that remotes from my other candles work with these so I can grab any remote to turn them all off without having to keep track.

We paid full price and have no connection to the supplier.We increased our rating to "five stars" after receiving prompt attention from Ksperway via the Amazon system. The 5-star rating is based on the novelty, beauty, and entertainment value of this product.If you have comparison-shopped, you know very few companies offer the moving-flame candle in the candlestick-taper format. No doubt miniaturizing the mechanism inside the slender taper is more challenging than for larger candles. The reason for the somewhat high price is probably A) few competitors, and B) amortizing the engineering and tooling expenses over a limited volume.The flame effect has uncanny realism across the room, and still remains fun after the viewer discovers the secret. The swinging flame-pendulum balances on a tiny pivot-point, pushed electromagnetically by a micro-size coil underneath it. The magnetic pulses from the coil interact with the flame's changing positions, resulting in random-looking movements in pitch, yaw, and roll, making the L.E.D. beam vary across the target's face, creating the illusion of a bending, dancing, shape-shifting flame.Since two AA batteries contain about 7 watt-hours of power, and this candle can run 150 hours before changing batteries, the total device apparently draws less than 47 thousandths of a watt -- and that includes all that flame motion plus also the bright L.E.D. light! That is fascinating efficiency: the magnetic field that swings that pendulum must be very small indeed.TIPS FOR USE:1) Test your new candle units for several hours right away. Use the Amazon vendor-contact system in case of any concerns.2) Consider using candle-holders made of glass, crystal, porcelain, wood, or plastic. I love these candles! They are on my mantel and bring the room to life!

I tried these in antique holders and bottoms of candle did not taper enough. I kept them to use later

I bought one box to see how realistic this would look. I put the candles in antique silver candle holders. Put in batteries. Turn on - WOW AMAZING! I have a lot of pillar candles that have the flickering flame, this is the first set of tapered candles. It looks totally realistic that I ordered 3 more boxes. On a side note, our 9 month old Ragdoll checked the new candles out, and then I turned them on … too funny, talked about her being surprised, but after a good sniff she walked away. Amen she did not go after the flickering candle part. Honestly BUY these! They are amazing. The look beautiful on. Trust me you will thank me! These candles are awesome! Buy, buy, buy!!!!

These are plastic - there is not a speck of wax anywhere despite being described as having a real wax coating . There is no button on the bottom to turn them on although it says there is on Amazon. There are no instructions or manual despite the write up in Amazon. You also cannot twist them on and off either. We waited a month for these and they are simply a very expensive piece of garbage. Impossible to tell if the remotes work since they do not turn anything on. And yes, we made sure that we used new batteries and that they were on correctly. Now I have to find out how to return them.

They are excellent and look very real. I find them expensive at $50 CAD for a pair but given that they are so good, I purchased 2 pairs of them. I have them on the timer and see them every night!Update: still love them but they chew through batteries quickly. Wanted to order a set in Black but they are $125.00 CAD for the pair - outrageous! How can you justify that for a colour?

Love, love love the candle. It looks like a real candle. I put it in my altar and light the candles when I pray to God. Very happy with it. The remote control is a bonus.Update on my review above..........this is lovely but it's no longer working in less than a year regardless of new battery. Will be disposing as it no longer useful. Too bad

I was excited to receive this product only to find that one of the candle's wax coating was cracked and peeling. I contacted the seller to return the item only to find out I have to pay the postage to return the defected item. Am not pleased and will not be purchasing from this company again.
