Bought to use smaller stencils for bullet journal even though I wasn’t sure of size of letters. Here are the heights of the capital letters of these stencils starting from smallest:8mm (~5/16”)11mm (~7/16”)19mm (~3/4”)28.5mm (~1-1/4”)I wish the smallest was 5mm but it works. The plastic is good quality - not too thick but not thin either. There’s a horizontal ridge on the back between the lines of letters - I’m not sure this is the intent but it’s nice to have when using an ink pen so the stencil isn’t flat against the paper. I’ve uploaded some samples of the various heights using Staedtler Pigment Liners in a Leuchtturm 1917. The only thing to keep in mind is a thicker nib won’t get through the stencil opening on the smaller stencil.

The large stencil works okay. If you don't want gaps between the left and right side of the letter, I guess you could move the 2 halves closer together to remove the gap. There is an upper case "Q" missing from the smallest stencil. I guess you could add the squiggle to an "O". I was going to use this for journalling, the smallest size would be most useful but my pencil does not fit enough to make the while letter. The two largest stencils only have upper case letters. I don't think I will use them often. So, it depends what you are using it for.
