Awesome for beginers
The exterior box came a little dinged but all contents are wrapped in a hard plastic so nothing was damaged or missing.I am new to MTG. I purchased this kit for $10. Absolutely great purchase for me who was just starting! Gave me the opportunity to start learning the game and being able to play with a friend. I will say I come from a yugioh background (but it has been 7 years since I last played) so the concept of the game was easier for me to pick up.This kit is a unique way to both introduce players to MTG while also promoting their online version (MTG Arenas). The Kit gives you two codes to play online which enables both decks. They encourage you to learn through online play and I think it works for most.I personally started MTG to play Tabletop so after getting my footing online I went to my local game store (LGS) and the community there welcomed me with open arms and helped me out. With that being said; this pack by no means is going to be able to hold its own at your LGS where there are seasoned vets with a plethora of cards but rather introduce the game and give you a starting point with a pre constructed deck.Overall great buy and would recommend to newcomers!

Great Deck, as advertised (mostly)
The two decks are great, I only have two issues.1. It promised 5 rare cards in each deck, one deck only had 42. it promised codes to redeem on MTG Arena and one of the codes failed saying it was already redeemed. So those to things are pretty disappointing but other than that I do like the starter decks

Good stater pack for learning the game
This was my first time playing magic or really getting any exposure to the game. That being said, I think these are both good starter decks that do a good job exposing you to the game. Gameplay seems pretty quick and easy enough to pick up on after a few matches, and theres a good variety of creatures, spells, etc in each deck to keep the game interesting. All around I think this is a good starter pack that can give you something to build on.My only real con was that the rules were a bit confusing at first if you're learning on your own, but there's lots of tutorials on the internet and the MTG Arena app is really good at helping you learn the game. After you install the game/app you can create an account and go through some tutorials that do a good job showing you how the game works and start playing some matches.I'd definitely recommend it if your new and looking to give Magic a shot

Good value
The cards aren't worth as singles, but the decks are well made and you'll have some fun playing them against each other. Good way to learn how to play

Great way to start playing magic or continue your game
This is a great beginner magic starter deck kit. Or if you are already familiar with magic this is a good way to get some new cards as well. One of these decks came with 2 copies of thundering raiju which was nice. Although I only use one copy in the deck, so the decks are evenly matched against each other. One thing I like about these decks is they are pretty simple - not an excess number of counters or instructions on the cards. You still need to look over and read the cards of course, but compared to some other decks and sets these are pretty simple and easy to get started with. Also, the price is right - I think I paid 10-15 dollars for 2 good magic decks. You can't beat that. I have gotten some new decks over time, but I still enjoy playing with these decks, both online on arena and with my friend at home or the game store.I guess the only thing to consider is that these decks would probably not be competitive against high powered decks but played against each other they are perfect.Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase. Thanks for reading and good luck!

A great place to start 😁
It showed up 2 days before it was supposed to, package was undamaged and now the wife and I can play finally. Considering we're both new to MTG, this is a great starting point which will eventually lead to a crippling addiction. 😁
