I bought this speaker because it was advertised as waterproof. However, it stopped working after getting wet in a swimming pool. The sound quality and battery life were fine, but it did not live up to its waterproof claim. Very disappointed.

Returned the second I tested it out - just awful speaker quality and had a weird buzz and like a bad radio connection white noise in the background of your music.

It's a little GIANT.Small but packs a punch.

I was looking for something small and lightweight that I could easily bring with me when I travel. I also wanted something waterproof for the shower as I always listen to podcasts. For something so small and inexpensive, it has pretty decent sound and volume. I'm no audiophile though. The plastic case that comes with it is significantly larger than the speaker, which defeats the purpose if you ask me. It is also cheap plastic and seems like it would break easily. I won't be using the case at all. I tried a slightly larger version, A106 pro, from the same company and the case for that was awesome. The A106 was significantly heavier so I decided to stick with this little one for travel purposes.

I've had a couple EWA speakers before this one which sounded great - for it's size this speaker has good sound - I've tested rock, rap, classical, electronic music and a few minutes streaming a movie with an action sequence and it sounds great. I like that the base lights up red when charging and flashes blue when pairing. I also like the lanyard on it - allows you to easily carry or hang on something...also ipx7 waterproof(although I'm not going to attempt to put it in water or get it wet) Great deal for the price - I'm ordering another one so that I can have stereo sound. My only minor complaint is that I wish they would make the circular instruction manual bigger so it's easier to read. Also- EWA customer support has been excellent - very nice and friendly. I’m amazed at the sound quality of this speaker, especially considering how small and it is. The size is smaller than my watch (see pictures), it fits comfortably in my cargo pants pocket. Extremely portable and I took it out on my daily walk with my dog. I did try to throw it into a glass of water and it was really waterproof like it says. The battery life is awesome! One fully charge can played music for a good 5 hours. I like it metal solid simple and clean design. Highly recommended for someone looking for a ultra mini waterproof Bluetooth speaker.
