Wow
This little jewel is in my pocket more than I expected. I hardly notice it in my pocket and a good clip too. It a great knife for shorts. The thick for it's size handle and excellent blade steel make this a very useful edc. Snappy action is a blast. It strops back to razor sharp easily after use.

Not really for lefties
I really like the purple color of this knife's scales, and I was also interested in the unconventional flipper mechanism, so I decided to give it a try. So far, the Squidward is a good, less-casual addition to my folder collection -- but here are my general thoughts after having it for a week or so:Pros:- The flipper has a slight learning curve if you're used to one-handed opening knives, and probably a big learning curve if you're not. I'm a leftie, but can open knives fairly ambidextrously. I didn't really have problems "slow" opening the Squidward, and once I became familiar with it, I could then flip the blade out really quickly -- basically with a snap. That's a nice feature, similar to a Kershaw.- The purple scales *are* a really nice color addition to my somewhat drab collection. They somehow seem fancy.- The low-profile pocket clip is kind of a must where I live. I like carrying a small pocket knife every day, but I don't like for people to really see that I do. This one barely registers, and would even be fine with dark dress pants.Cons:- 154CM steel is *fine*, but there's much better stuff available nowadays at this price point. Considering the scales are only G10, you're basically looking at a kind of materially-outdated folder here.- This knife isn't really ambidextrous. Despite being able to move the pocket clip to the other side, the recess for the liner lock is still geared for right-handers. That positioning just makes it easier to open and close with the right hand. I ended up hemming and hawing about clip placement for a few days, ultimately deciding that right-pocket carry was the best option.- The flipping mechanism is fine, but as I wrote above, there's a learning curve -- and some people probably won't be able to get it at all. Flipping itself is also a bit tough on one's thumb. You want to keep doing it because it's kind of fun, but it starts hurting after a few.- I don't really like the blade style of this knife. It might be great for spreading butter, but the curve makes it difficult to safely open things (like boxes -- the curve could cause the blade to slip out and away if it encounters something tough), and, well, it's just plain not a very useful style. Something like a wharncliffe or sheepsfoot would have been ideal for an EDC like this.Overall, I this was a cool knife to try out, but I wouldn't have spent much money on it. There are too many options out there not to get exactly what you want/need.

Just buy it.
Another fresh front flipper offered by Kizer and designed by Azo. Great little slicer that's fun and fidgety to handle.

real tight to open
ooof. I really like this guy but also really dont like it. its pretty nicely made and I really had to talk myself into returning it, because the front flipper is like sand paper on your thumb AND its really difficult to open.otherwise it was a pretty good quality knife.

Good knife
The liner lock is easy to disengage when you intend but it's safe and firm when handling the knife so it's great to fidget with. This particular knife didn't come as sharp as other kizer knives I have.

Terrible design
Wanted very much to like this knife. Couldn't do it. The blade is very difficult to get open, it takes two hands. There should be a thumb stud or appropriately placed bump. There isn't. Definitely don't recommend for this price.
