Sturdy light; bright light
This light works well in a stand-alone setup or as part of a DMX array of devices. It is quite bright, and the beam is wide -- wider than I thought it would be. That's why I wanted the one with barn doors. It assembles easy enough although some of the screw holes were a bit stubborn -- perhaps because of the painted coating. I found it difficult to lock the light (with barn doors) into position without it wanting to pivot downward. I added some lock washers, and that seemed to help, but you have to really tighten the screws in the bracket holder to get it to stay put.I had an issue with the initial product I received, and the people at BETOPPER were very good and fair about replacing that. Good service.

Works well, but Quality is Low
The construction is solid, and added barn doors work well with a little bit of tightening. The light is bright and doesn't seem to overheat with prolonged use. Seems to be easy to use and program. I wasn't real impressed with the cosmetic condition of the light upon arrival. Admittedly, this will be a non issue after being loaded in and out a few times. It was disappointing however, both lights ordered had a bit of loose (what looks like) ceramic coating rattling around inside the enclosure. I don't think this will affect the function, but will revise the review if it does down the road.

Nice value stage light.
Pros:• Good level of light output. There's also a bigger brother 200W version, which is MUCH brighter so consider that if you need some serious illumination.• Barn doors are included so you can shape the light as you need to,• The two brackets can act as a sturdy stand for the light to be placed on the ground, or the light can be hung from ceiling rigging. They aren't really suitable for a regular light stand where the light sits over the support, they're designed for the light to hang.• All metal construction.• They can be daisy chained and controlled with a DMX controller.• There are three color temperature settings: warm white, cool white, and warm yellow so you can change the look of the light without having to use filters.• The light output is fully dimmable so you can dial in the brightness you need for your setup.• The shape of the light beam feathers nicely.Cons:• Fan noise is really loud, making these totally unsuitable for setups where quiet lights are needed, e.g. video shoots.• The packaging was inadequate. The box has styrofoam at the top and bottom but it leaves the sides vulnerable to being damaged, and the box I received was a little beat up (the light was thankfully OK, but I'd recommend to the manufacturer that they should invest in some more protective packaging). There's a bag of screws that's just kind of thrown in the box without much care.Other notes:• These lights are not weatherproof at all so aren't suitable for outside setups unless you provide your own weatherproofing solution. This is a pretty decent budget stage light with a good level of output for a 100W light. It's definitely a good value for money.

Is it a Theatrical Light or a Video Light?
This Beetopper light is a strange one. It's clearly marketed for DJ, church and theater use, but it has more attributes of a videography light than a theatrical light. Typically, the sorts of lights used in the event and theater world have a numbder of RBG LED beads that allow you to program the light for different colors. This light has a single white LED (you can change the color temperature, so that you can go from daylight to warm white, but there are no other colors). In fact, they refer to the light as a COB (chip-on-board) light, which is a common reference for video lights and an odd one for theatrical lights. The presence of barn doors is also strange in a theatrical setting, but fairly common in a videography setting. For theater use, I don't see why anyone would want a light with just a white LED, when RGB lights can give you white and huge range of additional colors. The issue for video use is that this fixture has a CRI rating of just 92 (the description actually says 92 in one place and 90 in another), but videographers typically require a 95+ CRI. On the other hand, this fixture has typical DMX controls, which are common in a theatrical setting and uncommon in a videography setting. All of which begs the question, just who is this light for? The one use I've come up with is to light a green screen, since exacting color temperature in that setting isn't critical, they put out a decent amount of light, and the barndoors are actually useful. The overall quality of the light is decent, but I really dislike Betoppers practice of having these hardwired DMX cables that dangle from the fixture, rather than the typical recepitcals (all I can think is that it is cheaper to manufacture using the tails). The bottom line is that this fixture does what it is advertised to do, but isn't versatile enough for DJ/theatrical use and not accurate enough for videography use, so it's hard to recommend it.

Bright Light. Useful BarnDoors
This is a DMX controlled LED Light. It's 100w (feels bright and accurate) with an adjustable white balance. It comes with a mounting yolk and barndoor attachments. The add doesn't mention that it is DMX. If you look at it, you can clearly tell that it is. There is no documentation with it, so you'll have to play around with it for a second to see the controls. Basically a warm and cool color on two channels. Strobe on a third. It's pretty straight forward. The construction is a light weight aluminum. It is nicer than a plastic casing - but not super heavy duty. There is an internal fan for heat distrubution. I'm happy with the build quality. The light has a central hotspot with a nice feather. As it is white, this will primarily be used for a speaker spotlight for me - so the center focus is nice.It features two cords on the back. One cord connects a power and DMX cable. The other cord is the DMX passthrough. An adapter (included) is required. It would have been super handy if the out cord also supported power and DMX out for easier daisychaining. That would have been amazing. For the price, this is a nice LED light. Hopefully they start including a manual with the DMX directions in the future.
