Does What it’s Told
We normally use Scotch Guard because that’s what my husband knows! This product is fantastic! Sprayed on a light layer to test it out on the back bottom of my Uggs. Didn’t change the color, texture, feel or overall look of my precious Uggs! Fast drying and easy to use. I did spray our shoes outside for sufficient ventilation. These are chemicals after all 😉. Worked very well, will continue to use this and its other products! I will be reapplying as recommended by the Manufacturer! Good buy for price!

Works well. One small tip.
So far so good, my shoes holding up really well despite pretty serious usage. One small tip, however, if you are going to apply the spray outside, if it gets on the concrete every time it rains there will be little ghost foot prints where you had the shoes on the ground. I may need to reapply ever 6 months to a year if I remember.

Awesome weatherproofing product
Awesome product. With one can, I was able to weatherproof a pair of suede shoes, two pairs of knee high leather boots, and a large leather purse - all sprayed twice with still some left in the can. The odor is strong, as many spray chemicals are, so definitely use it in a ventilated area, though the smell doesn't last on whatever you spray for long. Also, make sure that you spray it evenly, because it can look a little blotchy when it dries on leather if you don't cover it evenly. Overall great product, especially in a rainy state like Florida.

Works as advertised
The product works as advertised. I use this to coat the shoes that I paint so that the paint last and won't scuff or wash off in the rain. So far so good! I like that the chemical smell doesn't stay on your shoes long after spraying and it doesn't leave a shiny residue like some shoe protectants. I have had one pair of shoes scuff but that may have been user error as I may not have sprayed enough layers. I recommend letting each layer dry before adding the next for best results.

Repels both NYC streets and blood
Listen. We don't know each other. But we're about to get real cozy. This is a story about a pair of nude suede shoes. They're from Birdies. They're not cheap. I bought them for a week-long trip to NYC during which I walked over 50k steps. On the subway, no one else was wearing nude suede shoes, because duh, it's a dirty city. But I'd sprayed my shoes with this Kiwi spray before I left. And therefore, none of NYC dirt stayed on my shoes. There were several moments where I thought, uh oh, that's probably going to leave a mark. I dripped condensation on my shoes. I got stepped on. I existed in the city. But everything brushed right off. They looked pristine when I got back. You're probably thinking, okay, this isn't anywhere near TMI. Buckle up, my friends! That NYC trip was three months ago. Today, I'm wearing them again. About 15 minutes ago, I needed to empty my menstrual cup (Flex--another great product) so I do so while seated on the porcelain throne. And then it happens. I drip blood on one of my shoes. Right on the top of this nude suede loafer. A drop about half the size of my pinkie fingernail. I definitely swore audibly. This is how I dump over a hundred dollars down the drain, I think.I immediately take a piece of tissue and blot at the blood drop , which is pooled and not yet soaked in. Maybe it won't be so bad. I blot it up and there's still a dark mark, definitely visible, on top of the shoe. Well, that's it, I think. But I take a clean piece of tissue and start to gently scrape at the suede. And miracle of all miracles--it disappears. You cannot tell that anything happened--not even a little bit.Today, the impossible has happened. Today is also your day. Buy this. You could not ask for a more rigorous and accidental product testing than this. You're welcome.

Soaked toes
I had high hopes for this product, however, I was severely disappointed. I did the 2 coats and let them dry for the directed amount of time. A few days later I wore my sneakers in the early morning when there was still dew on the grass. Needless to say, my toes were soaked by the end of walking the 30 seconds through the grass. This product didn’t repel water whatsoever, total waste of money.

Misleading
Misleading picture. Three cans advertised, only one is in the order. Read the fine print. Otherwise, fine effective product.

Excellent protection for leather and fabric shoes
After thoroughly treating 4 pairs of children's leather/fabric boots with Kiwi Protect-all, I still have about half of a can of the spray left. The spray treatment did not alter the color or surface finish of any of the shoes, and did not leave any lasting smell. Two sets of boots were Sorel Campus boots, Sorel Women's The Campus Boot, Curry, 7 M US which are essentially suede with fabric accents. These boots have performed well in rainy conditions so far with the Protect-all, not staining like other non-treated pairs we own.Other shoes we coated were smooth leather like the Sperry Bluefish Sperry Top-Sider Women's Bluefish,Linen oat,8.5 M and Eastland Sailor boat shoe Eastland Women's Sailor Boat Shoe, Tan, 7 M US, and DVS Yodeler DVS Men's Yodeler Snow Boot, Black/Brown Leather, 9 M US. My one recommendation for users is that you follow the directions carefully and always spray this coating in a well-ventilated, outdoor area. Make sure you let them dry thoroughly too! This was a good purchase, and I believe we will use this as our go-to spray to waterproof shoes, backpacks, and boots in the future.
