It looks like a child’s toy
I got this as a gift for a musician. Wish I had spent a bit more and purchased one made of wood or unpainted. It’s small and looked pretty silly once I received it.

So far, so good. Hard to beat this price too. You get two medium-chicken-egg sized, plastic shakers in a rich orange color. The sound would be warmer in wood (they sell those too if that's what you are looking for), but they have a pretty decent tone for being plastic. Basic, fun, inexpensive.

Sounds great on stage!
I use the shaker with my barbershop quartet and it the sound complimented the song nicely.
