Clyde Industrial 1-Drawer Square Coffee Table with 1 Open Shelf, Magazine Rack and Caster Wheels, 31", Vintage Walnut

Intial impression is positive on this piece, assembly was easy and packaging was adequate. Total assembly took about 45 minutes with the "help" of my five year old son and a cordless drill. There are approximately 100 screws used throughout the assembly, all phillips. Personally I failed to do enough research and didn't realize it was made out of MDF, on the plus side the veneer seems to be a rather thick vinyl like surface, much thicker than your typical big box store flat pack furniture. Time will tell it's durability, additionally the veneer does has some texture besides the vinyl feel, there are faux knots and other imperfections. Honestly it's a beautiful peice full of features, there is a drawer on one of the lower sides that's about 24w x 18 deep x 5 tall and on the opposite side a fold down door with about the same demensions. On each side there is magazine or thin book storage,about 3 inches deep worth. Whole thing is supported by 5 slightly over an inch tall plastic coaster wheels on metal brackets, 2 of which are locking coasters. 4 stars for being MDF at this price, 10 stars if it was real wood at the same price, amazing design and easy assembly.

PROS: This coffee table is the perfect size for our area around our sectional couch. I love that the table is square, which is hard to find. We also love the extra storage compartments (two drawers, a shelf, and side compartments for magazines, books, or photo albums).My husband and dad put it together in under 2 hours and said it was fairly easy to put together.CONS: When it was delivered, we discovered the bottom piece to one of the drawers was damaged. (Looks like a dent/scrape possibly from a fork lift moving it) - see in picture. We tried contacting the seller and never heard back. Luckily, it doesn't really effect the sturdiness or usefulness of the coffee table and you can't see it unless you open the drawer and don't put anything in it.

I was hesitant buying furniture online, but I’ve never seen a table like this and I really wanted it. To my surprise, this table looks exactly like the pictures online. It took my husband and I two hours to build. There were A LOT of pieces to put together, but the construction was rather straight forward. We’ve bought plenty of furniture where the pieces don’t line up or holes are missing, but this was NOT the case. The table is well constructed and the end result is a super sturdy coffee table.The table is made of particle board though, which means this table will be prone to wear and tear. I am a bit upset because we received the table with a very noticeable scratch mark on the table surface from when the delivery person cut into the box to get a better grip on the package. This is not the fault of the manufacturer because I believe the table was well packed. It’s just unfortunate the delivery person ruined it by stabbing through two layers of cardboard and styrofoam, and the table surface piece happened to be placed facing outward in the box. I didn’t want to go through the hassle of exchanging it for another one, so I just covered the scratch with some black acrylic paint so the scratch is not as noticeable. I wish the table surface was sealed with a clear sealant though, because I also noticed when I wiped the table surface with Clorox wipes (as I like to do for most table surfaces), the wipes turned black from the stain in the grooves. I’m hoping this will eventually stop.Despite the pitfalls that come with particle board, I absolutely love this table. It’s well designed with lots of storage. It also has a beautiful rustic look to it that fits my home decor perfectly.

Get ready to spend some time putting this thing together. It came in a flat box in multiple pieces. . Took me almost 2hrs to put together. Once it’s put together I can tell you that if you did everything right it is a sturdy coffee table. Quality is not the best but I guess you get what you pay for.

This is a great table. I had to take one star off because unfortunately the package came in pretty bad shape and a couple of the pieces had chips. The chips were mostly on parts that you don’t see so I kept it. It functions wonderfully as far as the drawer and the wheels. It also looks great, just like the picture.

It’s a nice table when you get it together. However it has zero durability. I highly recommend you put a coat of matte polycrylic top coat on it. We had one glass of water on the top and it formed a ring in less than 5 minutes. The top also wears incredibly fast.

Other than several broken pieces and corners, most which were hidden after assembly. It took 3 of us about 3 hours to assemble. And a couple of the table top corners are slightly smashed. But way to much work to take apart and return. All in all it doesn’t look bad , but disappointed in the quality.

It did take quite a but to assemble but everything was provided, including the wood glue! Had it for a few months now and love that it has wheel and is fairly compact compared to our previous rectangular coffee table.
