Are you a gambler ? It is a gamble
First thing I had to do once I opened the box, was weigh the baggy. I surely didn’t think it was 28 grams ( It was ). I have 3 stars because basically it was what they stated. I was bummed the only color I seen was on the smallest pieces. Pieces so small you can only refine carefully by hand if your that good. The bigger pieces were just milky. I know it’s luck of the draw ,so I’m bummed I spent 33$ on ?? But it is basically what they advertised. Not sure I’d gamble again. Rather spend that much on one piece with a little color showing and the mystery of can I uncover more.

Know what you're getting into
I'm new at all things lapidary so I bought some opal to practice with. The amount is great for the price, however, the stones are very thin, fractured, or have sand running through them in challenging ways that it makes it even more difficult for a novice like me. There are a few that are all potch and relatively even looking that I will start working on. There is a firey looking one that has a black bar directly above and below it that might make other people excited, but I think it's too fragile for my skills.

Nothing like the picture just a bunch of very very small chips
Can't do anything with these. Just some very very small chips. Don't expect to receive anything like what it shows you on the packet. Very disappointed.
