I read “Flowers in the Moon” recently and decided to read this as well since I enjoyed the words and poetry in that one so much. This book didn’t disappoint. I think Billy is super insightful and really helps me understand the importance of loving myself versus prioritizing others. Self-love is so important and using it to grow and better yourself is truly the message of this book. I loved it :)

I can’t even put into words just how much I adore this book. I’m only halfway through and I’ve already bookmarked almost every page (I’m not even kidding!) The writing is absolutely beautiful and so so powerful — and it is exactly what I needed to read right now.I’ve recommended this to all my friends who read poetry, and I’m buying a copy for my best friend’s birthday. I truly cannot praise this book enough. I never write book reviews but I was just reading and felt so moved again that I needed to share my thoughts. Seriously, do yourself a favor and read this book!!! It is SO worth it, I promise!!

Found Mr. Chapata on Instagram and immediately fell in love with his words. This book is a treasure trove of transformative healing. He speaks to your heart and soul if you're receptive of the words written within the pages of the book. ❤

Bought this novel after I had followed the author on Twitter. He is such a soul touching and mind healing writer. God knows how his words and writing held me during rough seasons of my life. I would buy this over and over again.
