Q: I am 5/11 and weigh about 220.... will this work for me

For our use, we needed for it to be completely closed so I had to sew velcro on the front. It will fit, but it may be a little tight

Q: I'm 5'9" and 180, I'd like the costume to go to my ankles. What size would I need?

Not sure.. we ordered the large for my average height 12 yr old son. He was about 5 ft tall when he wore it and it came to his ankles.

Small My 8 yo is a,little smaller than you are and I had to roll up the sleeves and the back went to the ground.

Q: Would this fit an 8yr old boy?

My 8 year old is tall and we ordered him a medium. It fit well and was of much better quality than we expected. My son is really thin as well and it wrapped around him nicely but had some trouble staying closed over his plush winter coat.
