No inside pocket .
Great design but no inside chest pocket which would be handy for a wallet or smart phone . Bit concerned re the zip as it looks a bit flimsy . I could be wrong , it might last but it is the same gauge as found on some of my wife's evening wear.

Beautiful top let down by the zip
This is a fantastic zip top / jacket. However the zip is tiny, sticks and will probably break a month or so down the line, so I returned the jacket.Primary use would be for active wear walking, running or hiking. Under layers or on its own. Its not worth £100 but would keep if I found it around £60 or so.Addidas , TNF and Decathlon have a similar version with better front zip worth checking out.

Brilliant lightweight insulting piece.
I've had both the hybrid featherless and the echo (same as the hybrid with a small amount of extra insulation) worn in cold to very cold UK conditions. I've worn dozens of softshells and other mid-layer type jackets and these have become my fav despite rating marmot a serious (UK weather) weather brand.PRO's: Wind proof, moderately breathable, very light weight, packable, and pretty warm.CON's: Zip is a weak link, better zip Marmot please!

I'm happy with it
I bought a shell coat for rain and snow which was a bit tighter of a fit than expected, so when looking around for a mid layer, was hoping for something that was thin and snug. This was a perfect choice. It is true to size and comfortable even during activity. It looks really good so I can go from trails to towns and fit in. The quality is apparent in every feature and every stitch. Zipping all the way up closes the top around my neck enough to keep heat in but not too tightly to be uncomfortable. Zipping down a bit, the top folds down to be a loose collar. The waist tightens down with a single shock cord pull but they've also added a small piece of plastic that is very nice to pull to tighten rather than pulling right on the cord. A simple thing like that makes a big difference. The bottom area stays put an doesn't slide up and down so its comfortable but also looks good with movement. The thinsulate lofts right back up after compression. The lining is along the bottom where one might imagine, as well as running along the bottom of the arms and high up from the cuffs. The edge of the cuffs are comfortable, again being the perfect fit and I'm glad the lining is there because there is no sticky feeling there like I get with packable coats. The zipper seemed questionable for being so small but its actually strong, not delicate. I can wear this in 60° after a 76° late summer day but I can already tell that this will provide the perfect warmth in winter as a mid layer. I particularly look forward to not having to change layers at virtually every other hill when biking along a mountain road during off and on snow, sleet or rain and winds with sometimes rapid changes in temperatures. When I do need to pack it away, it takes up very little space in my pack and weighs very little. Coming from a person who does not have the greatest means, I say it's worth every penny.

I liked it, but had to return.
Well made, but didn't fit what I needed. I'd be interested if they made a thicker version as heavier outer layer. This is a snug fit for the size, which I'm not sure if I would like long term. It fit easily under my Marmot Zeus down jacket as a base layer. It was just a bit to athletic cut for me, and I'm pretty thin.
