The was purchased for a second grader to use as his costume prop for a king of England presentation. He had specific ideas as to what a robe should look like and I was too lazy to try to make one. We were both very happy with this robe.LIKED: Quality and feel of robe material. He wanted something red and "velvety". It is just that. I nice weight to it too. He wanted a "fur" collar. The collar is nice and plush. CROWN: This is not some cardboard crown. It is made out of material and molds nicely to his head. The velcro closure is secure. He particularly likes the "jewels" on the crown.The only thing I will have to add is a velcro closure tab at the top because he isn't able to tie a bow under his neck.

Worked for what it was intended to: an inexpensive costume for my daughter to do a video for a school project with. If you want something to be high quality and durable, look in the appropriate price range. I would call this a satisfactory, not outstanding, purchase. Hence the 4 stars.
