Better than the low price suggests
Bought this as a temporary watch while my Swiss one is being repaired. I wouldn't normally go for a smart watch, but thought I'd try one as a bit of fun.I chose a Lige watch as I'd already heard of them as being a decent budget Swiss-a-like traditional watch brand. Well, I am surprised just how good it is. I've had it for around a month and there's not much to moan about.Battery life is 3 to 4 days. The display turns on when the motion sensor detects that you've turned your wrist to look at it. Quite a few watch faces to chose from using the phone app, but I prefer the pre-loaded watch faces. Integrates with the phone just fine to show WhatsApp and Text notifications. The heartbeat monitor works and is in "the right ball park".The only thing that's a bit weird is the step counter as it produces "vanity" numbers. Sometimes it shows 1000 steps by the time I leave the house first thing in the morning, and then shows many thousands at the end of a car and desk-based day. But this is a minor thing as you can easily get a decent step counter app on your phone for free anyway. The other negative thing I've noticed is that the black coating is rubbing off the bracelet on the surface which touches the desk when I'm working. Nothing major, but the silver metal is showing through so if that would bother you, then perhaps a stainless steel bracelet would be a better option. All in all: Good and excellent value

Best birthday present ever!
I brought this as a birthday present for my very fussy boyfriend who has everything and he was over the moon! So was I it's incredible value for money. The strap itself was a little too large, but the link removal tool included was a lovely extra touch, it made removing it really easy, there is lots of thoughtful extra touches included, I was really surprised! The watch itself is stunning, it looks way more expensive than it is, the black finish makes it look really modern but classy at the same time, my partner hasn't taken it off since I gave it him, it's great for going out and every day for work, showing how durable it is. He particularly likes it as he can answer his calls and talk without having to touch his phone which is a lifesaver as a plumber!! You can also change your style every day as there are hundreds of watch faces, can you can accessorise with every outfit! All the added extras make it incredible, the alarm is great for waking him up (trust me it's a hard job). I have a fitbit and I'm very jealous he has more gadgets than me ha! The app is easy to install and looks good too, and once connected to Bluetooth everything works great (it took me a while while figure out your had to go in your phones Bluetooth settings to use calls and media - but that was our fault not the watches). Its very easy to use top which is great. We are still finding things it does, I'm so happy I chose this watch, the company seem amazing with aftercare too, highly recommended!!

Good value for money
As the title states, for the money, this is a decent watch. I love the size of it as it looks nice and chunky on the wrist, and the steel strap makes this look more expensive than it is.For me, there are two downsides - one I can live with and the other being a bit frustrating.Firstly, the mobile app is very basic. Not many features and the watch faces you can choose are very limited and quite immature. Nothing really sophisticated and I would say a lot (90%+) are quite gimmicky. I managed to find one watch face that I liked out of the the choice, but it is not be ideal choiceSecondly, the strap clasp is not really secure enough. The clasp continually releases when you twist or bend your wrist and really isn't strong enough. TBH, the strap is a little flimsy and dare I say on the cheap side, but it looks good and when it works, it's half decent. But it just releases far too often - the watch doesn't fall off your wrist as it is just a release-type strap, rather than two halves. But it is just a little annoying.I probably wouldn't recommend the watch given the above but its not a bad smart watch for 50 quid! If you do decide to buy, it does is job.Just be aware this does not conform to WearOS (Android watch OS) so you can't download any WearOS faces - your stuck with what they give you, which is gimmicky and quite limited.

Good enough, but..
OK first, the major downside to this watch, imho: The heart rate displayed on the main watch face is not a 'live' value. It's just the rate obtained whenever you last did a manual check. This is the case even if you have 'Continuous monitoring' selected in the app. For me this is a worthless piece of data to have continuously on the main display. Every other device I have seen, if you monitor heart rate constantly, your current rate is shown on the main display.OK, aside from that, the watch looks good but feels plastic. The screen cover is plastic and feels cheap (and sounds - it rattle a little when you touch it or shake your wrist).Functionality, aside from that pulse issue, is good, and it appears to be reasonably accurate. I manually checked my pulse a few times and (again, manually of course!) checked the reading on the watch and they tallied pretty well.Step counter also seems pretty accurate and the shutter control for your phone camera is a nice addition - though I'm not much of a selfie person (if you ever saw me, you'd know why! lol)Can I live with the heart rate thing? Possibly. The exercise monitor appears to work pretty well (I've only used the running option though) and I don't really need to see my heart rate every minute of the day, it's just that it irks me a little!Sleep monitor seems pretty good too though appears to only check your state every 30 mins or so. I know I've been awake briefly through the night and the monitor has not picked that up.But hey, it's a sub £50 watch and it's pretty good for that price, just one or two annoying little quirks.
