Leonardo da Vinci, later lord Kelvin and also Albert Einstein has described natural phenomena known as capillarity. Drainage Belt applies these scientific observations that effectively remove excess water from areas affected by rain or condensation in constructions or civil engineering projects. Process of draining of undesirable water or other liquids eg oil is very simple, effective and without external use of power. Practical use of Drainage Belt has place in home dwellings, basements, garages, bathrooms or roofs. It is very desirable options in many civil engineering projects such as draining schemes for roads, supporting walls, golf courses, bridges, flat roofs, rain gutters, walkways etc. Using Drainage Belt eliminates need for forceful structural alterations, cutting holes, digging ditches or even concern over necessary slopes for moving water out of the area. It is a great help to get a rid of standing water in and around houses and its corners. Drainage Belt fully replaces usage of hoses and pipes and simplifies process of ushering water into a collector. The properties of this belt are enabling to remove all rain and groundwater from affected areas. It is applicable in various conditions of soil compositions and its most unique ability is to push water over the obstacles and against the slope up to 5" in height. This feature is most appreciated in uneven terrains. The one requirement calls for positioning the end of this belt 10" below the base water level in the affected areas. The profusion of water removal depends on discrepancies of suction height and the actual outlet height of Drainage Belt. Maximum recorded values in real conditions reached up to 10 gallons in an hour. The belt can be cut to size, bent, linked and joint with simple layering belts over. DB will eliminate destructive effects of water in any construction projects for good and without electricity or any moving parts. I followed the instructions, put one end deep into sump pit, the other in a puddle with the end sticking up. It absorbed some water, but the water never actually transferred out. The puddle just got bigger and bigger. Review: Not installed yet. - Haven't installed them yet but wanted to post a picture of their arrival. I thought they would be much larger- hard to tell from the item picture. The roll can fit in your hand. No problem, as long as they work. Just wanted to show you what they look like, size-wise, compared to my hand. Will follow-up when I get them installed. 5 stars as a starting point.

Not speedy but it works
I waited for a few big rainstorms before reviewing. I have a low area on a flat roof that can hold about 1" of water in a 5ft by 10ft area. As there is a drain a few feet away I normally would just sweep the water to the drain. I wanted to try this product. It took a day for the strip to be completely saturated. I raised the end 5" above the water and used about 15 feet in the water and dropped the other end down the drain pipe about 12 inches. It took about 48 hours to drip all the water away which works for me. Hope this helps!

Amazing Product
Fantastic! Had ponding water as a permanent fixture on my roof. Followed the directions and in a couple days the water was gone. Weโve had a few torrential rain storms since, still dry as a bone. I have two decks with a similar issue. Waiting for this product to come backboard n Amazon so I can buy more!

This product works well but be patient by testing different layouts. First time we tried it was unsuccessful. We rearranged the next day and to our surprise our test with bucket to measure moisture levels worked. Pitch of belt is critical for proper suction and flow.

ANSWER TO OUR DRAINAGE PROBLEMS
In the backyard and on the concrete there was always lots of standing water that ran down from our roof. We were not able to use conventional drainage pipes and we didn't want to cut out a groove in our concrete. When we put down the drainage belt in the puddle of water we were surprised and pleased to see that the water would even move uphill and flow away. The next day the water was gone without any further action by us. When we had water again, with the help of this geocomposite belt, the water would disappear in a half day or less. The solution was perfect for us!!
