I bought these, because a fellow knee-pain sufferer said I should try walking poles rather than a walking stick, as I struggle to use a stick due to upper arm pain. Having checked out the myriad choices, I picked these as they had mostly good reviews and were a reasonable price - not cheap but far from expensive. I noted that most of the negative reviews were from people who said they didn't go together properly and the sections just came loose because the cords had no tension and didn't hold them together. However, it seems those reviewers had not read the instructions properly - upon fitting the sections together, you have to press the little button and pull the top part up until it clicks into place and then it's completely rigid. To collapse the pole, you simply press the button again and pull it apart. When I'm not using them, I just keep them in the excellent little drawstring bags them come in. If I think I'll be somewhere I might need them, I pop them in a largish shoulder bag I have and they are light enough to carry around.I only use mine for walking around urban areas, so just have them with the tapered rubber ends, but they also come with little ridged feet for hiking, and also round, flat feet for times when you might just be having to do a lot of standing. All in all, these are very well made poles at a great price and I would highly recommend them.

Bought these for a walking hols on the Amalfi coast and boy am I glad I did. Super hilly with a hec of a lot of steps, up and down, and these poles were great. Was able to quickly collapse them down and put them in my rucksack when I didnt need them, and very easy to put up when needed. Sometimes they shortened themselves slightly on a climb when putting full weight on them but that was usually as I hadnt tightened them enough! Loved them and much less wieldly than normal poles

These collapse to allow transportation in small cases and will be useful to take on holiday which is helpful as my usual poles won’t fit in my case. They’re sturdy once connected into a full sized pole, I’m going to use them for my holidays.

Bought these for my Dad, he said that they are pretty good and so would recommend them. They are very sturdy and handy that they expand as he is over 6ft tall.

Don't seem to be able to contact seller any way. I posted these over a month ago as a return because they were faulty but nothing yet happening either end?

Found these really hard to stabilise them when clicking in position. Not used because of this

I have recently discovered Nordic Walking for fitness so purchased these to try it out. I didn't want to spend a lot on equipment until I was sure it would suit me, so these poles seemed to fit the bill. The poles are very lightweight and when collapsed fit nicely into a small backpack. They are easy to assemble and there is a QR code that takes you to a video to show you how to assemble which is simple and straightforward to follow.

I have been using an old walking stick for ages when going on our hill walks. A friend of ours turned up with some walking poles I tried them and decided there and then I would get some. As always, I decided to have a look at what Amazon had to offer. There are many on offer but these were the ones that took my eye. I have had them for a couple of days and although I have not yet had a chance to try them out on difficult terrain, I am certain I will never go back to my old walking stick. These are revelation, light and yet sturdy. Very easy to adjust and very smart looking. First thing my wife said is “I want some”. Mmmmm……..can’t argue with that then!
