Equal to the Gold Standard
I ran across these in a bargain bin store and bought some for trial and error testing, not expecting them to be more than another cheap knock-off of a legit combat tourniquet. To my honest surprise I found out they are equivalent in design and durability. I have even run through through an extended freeze test and they have not failed.I have purchased these several times now and they reside in all of our kits. I have never had one fail any testing I can devise and have 100% confidence in them, just as I would a more expensive brand. Considering what is out there that look similar that says a great deal in the way of a positive nature.

It will do the job
Always carry one in your kit and hope you never have to use it. Better to be safe than sorry.

It Works
Comes in a sealed plastic package with instructions inside. I took it out and put my bicep into the loop and pulled the Velcro and strapped it around (tightly like you’re supposed to) and turned the windlass. After 1 1/2 turns it was extremely tight and tingling and numbness was immediate. 2 1/2 turns definitely stopped all blood flow and was pretty painful. Anything past that would start doing damage. So it definitely works. The plastic windlass is plenty durable enough and I don’t see it breaking unless you’re trying to. The instructions are pretty vague and do little to tell you how to actually apply the tourniquet. Watch some YouTube vidoes and you’ll learn how to use it pretty quickly. (You should practice using it on yourself and others before putting into your kit) Even though it’s not “the real thing”, I would trust this tourniquet to save lives, and the price means you can have more of them in more places.

Quality product
I received this product in exacting the amount of time it was supposed to take... I have had it for about a week and luckily have not had to use it... I bought it because I am a first responder and arrived in a scene of a woman with a major lactation... I had to use a belt because it was all I had... the next day I purchased this to keep on my belt... I have practiced with it and it seems like it is a good quality product... I hope that I never am in need of one again but I will be ready in the case that I do... great product from a great provider

Poor manual
While the product appears satisfactory, the instructions are poor and at times nonsensical. Seems to be an inept translation from another language. Amazon, you could have done better.Check out You Tube videos from Stop the Bleed organization for proper instructions.

Good value option for a Tourni
Bought this to compare to the Recon Medical version. This one feels slightly lower quality. I prefer the aluminum windlass of the Recon model. The plastic parts seem durable, but not as much Recon's. This one was less expensive by about five bucks. I think the difference in quality is worth it. If you need to buy four or five at once, spring for these. But, if you are only going to buy one or two, spend the extra and look at Recon Medical. Picture note: Recon is Tan, SZCTKlink is Black.

Better to have and not need...
I have added this to my kit.I would suggest unwrapping it before packing it in any kit and see what you have and how to use it. Get familiar with it at least. I opened the loop enough so that in case I need it, it will at least go around my leg without struggling.Well made and easy to operate. I bought 2 more for other kits.
