2 Pack - Orbit Adjustable Flow 8-Port Drip Irrigation Manifold for 1/4 Inch Tube

Unfortunately I've been using these manifolds long enough to recognize that Orbit has cit back on the wall thickness of the plastic. This probably has to do with moving it's manufacturing facilities to Mexico they probably trashed their old machinery and molds and built newer cheaper versions of all thier products in the long run. No reason to consider them over any other manufacturer for parts from now on I'll be buying in bulk from other foreign manufacturers instead of paying more for the name that means nothing now.

I really like these distribution manifolds. I don't have any of that black thin tubing that gets chewed up or pinched off by a root anywhere on my entire property. I run 3/4" pvc everywhere. Use a reducing tee or elbow anywhere I need and screw this manifold on at 75 psi and it reduces the pressure internally, no need for a extra reducer. I run my little tubing from the manifold and adjust the flow to whatever I want or put a drip on the end of the tubing and adjust the station timer accordingly. Great product at a great price from a professional supplier.

I am using these manifolds in my raised bed gardens and my fruit and nut orchard. I have tried 3 other brands and they do not work as well. They, the manifolds of others, clog , do not allow as much adjustment in the volume control. These manifolds have eight ports. Don't need eight ports? screw driver stops shut off what you don't need and still allow for expansion as your vegetation grows. 8 ports in a garden or flower bed means you need less manifolds for your emitters.

It good but not perfect. The adjustments are easy. It's good to have the little caps that close off the port entirely. I've ordered 4 of these and every single one arrived with one or two caps missing. That's not an issue because if you are only using two ports, you probably can use a simpler manifold. The price doubled over a four day period between two orders. WTph?
