Zebra G-402 is my new favorite pen. They have just the right amount of heft without being too heavy. The G-301 looks fine but feels too light and cheap. The G-402 fits right into that sweet spot of being a nice pen that you'd rather not lose, but it won't cost you much to replace.I like the tip shape of the 402, and the rubber grip prevents slipping without being sticky. The ink refills are interchangeable, I've even bought a 2-pack of 301s and cannibalized the ink to put in the 402. The ink lasts a moderate amount of time but I'm not writing essays. The writing experience is very smooth and you can get the refills in 0.5mm or 0.7mm, maybe other sizes too.One word of caution: If you put the pen in a shirt pocket or bag without retracting, IT WILL STAIN whatever fabric it comes into contact with, so be careful. It's not a pen to throw in your pants pocket. But I guess that is the downside of the smooth effortless writing of the cartridge.

What can I say. I absolutely love zebra pens. I’m a safety captain on an oil rig and paperwork is an all day constant. They write smooth and dry even better. Very legible just wished they came in this style with .7. but I love the fact that the ink of these and the.7 G 301 are interchangeable. Very comfortable on my hand. I was getting cramps using sharpie gel pens and other brands but I discovered these. Very good investment and the refills saves you a couple bucks. I love all the ones I’ve tried my favorite is the black one with the brass barrel though

I am kind of a pen snob, I find a pen and if I like it that is all I will use. Zebra has a series of pens and most of them are great but I have finally found my forever pen. This pen writes smooth, super fine writing, the pen itself is a good size and feels like it has substance so it’s not flimsy. I wish they were a little cheaper but it’s worth it for a good pen if you write a lot.

Discovered Zebra pen and pencils sets in the 70's. It was always the brand I could count on. The refills were not easily available then, and as the pen ran out of ink I had to put it aside. Found this on Amazon and was thrilled and to add to my joy it came with refills. I love the way this pen writes and fits in my hand, even after long hours of writing, it does not make my hand tired or sore.
