No doubt the perch is study! My 25 lb dog uses it! I think it will work great for my 7 lb cat, if the dog ever gives it up.

My cats really liked sitting in our windowsills but they were slightly too small for them to get comfortable on. I bought two of these perches for them and they’re perfect! I used the Velcro option rather than trying to drill and screw them down and they seem perfectly sturdy. Definitely recommend this this!

I thought this was going to be an easy set it and forget it type of thing which it is IF you use the screws. The Velcro will not hold a cats weight from jumping on top of it as it does hang off the edge a bit. I had to use the screws to make it secure enough. I should have probably just got 20 bucks of solid wood myself and made one, but I thought this would have been better. It isn't.It does do the job, but the entire sturdiness of it relies on two screws which have now marred my window sill.

My cat was always trying to sleep in the window sill but it was too small so one paw was hanging off. too funny. I heard the suction cups perches come off plus I really didn't want it to weaken my window that way. I love this one as it only screwed on the top and the bottom just rests firmly against the wall so very little holes. He didn't like the soft pillow so I took it off and put a small flannel cat blanket there and it worked perfect for him. It's in a guest room so all we have to do us unscrew it to temporarily remove it and then put it back in when our guests leave. Very sturdy and good for small or large cats that are not too heavy. Totally worth it!!!!

Says it's a Window Perch for a cat however I purchased it for my 3.5 lb Yorkie, Lady Anya. I love it but more importantly Lady Anya is in love with it. She gets in the window to watch her friends, the squirrels, rabbits, birds, butterflies, toads and etc, and oh what a joy for her! She also love to lay in the sun, feet up!The Perch is well made and easy to assemble and attach to window sill and so soft for my baby girl. I would certainly buy it again and will refer the product to my fur baby friends!!
