Bought this to replace the Gainsboroough 9.5 se which this model supercedes . It was more or less compatible with the existing water fittings although I had to add a 90% compression joint to make it fit . Also the fixing holes were different to the 9.5 se and hence had to drill the tile to fix it , something I hadn`t wanted to do (but did). This is the 3rd Gainsborough in about 10 years so I guess they last about 5 years with maybe 4x per week use - not sure if it makes any difference but we`re in a hard water area.

Problems with the on off button... Pressed in and stays in didn't release out..

Edit - The seller has now resolved the issue and refunded the product after the manufacturer did nothing to help, so the review below for the shower manufacturer stands but the Seller has stepped up and given good service in the end.Shower broke within 6 weeks, Seller would not do anything and directed me toward manufacturer who has said it will take 3 weeks before someone can come out and look at it (not fix it!!)Terrible product and service from all parties, do not buy this product or from this seller unless you don’t want to have a shower for a month!!
