I love this thing. I use it with a cellphone clamp to run Alfred Camera security software on my old phone. It has pretty good, versatile settings and options. Very happy with it. Highly recommend.

This WEWATCH 52" Aluminum Tripod is really light in weight. It is quite surprising how sturdy it is.even If you extend all legs to maximum you can detect only the slightest amount of give when applying a substantial amount of downward weight.. Let me say again, very slight amount. That is not a problem because in the old days we used a shutter release on our old 35mm favorites and today there is electronic delay, settings to let you get in the picture or to give you time to take the slight amount of weight off the tripod after pressing the shutter. I have my camera set for a two second delay, always.I did observe another area that demonstrates mechanical weakness. The ratchet that fine tunes the overall height of the camera cranks up without a problem but when you want to crank it back down it jams.I found that by exerting a gentle pressure on the half threaded jack post in an away from you actionthe crank will engage and you can lower the post. It is the only area that I found that was a semi-troublesome area unless a trick is applied without that it is a complete failure.I still like the tripod and probably wont be using the ratchet height adjustment very much if at all.The WEWATCH is really OK for the money.Sturdy Construction:The construction is all attractive black, square, and seamless aluminum channel.Each slightly smaller section collapse into or emerges from another, smoothly and positively.The quick locks on the legs are adequate in strength and do their job.Good Value:This tripod is really a good value at the price you will pay.It does make a mount stand for a Video Projector.The quick connect locks up solidly so I did not have fears about mounting the projector. With any quick connect it is wise to check the integrity of the grip from time to time. In a static mode there should be no problem. I have not experienced any whatsoever.The quick connect cinching lever that locks into the groove of the connector is spring loaded.By the way, I forgot to mention that this tripod does not have a ball head.I kind of like that since you have a handle to steer the view of what the digital camera is to look at and capture with the release of the shutter.My first tripod was a Star D. I recently gave it up. It was still working perfectly. Only a few patches metal showing where the black paint had been scratched away by usage in the field.It did not have a quick connect for the camera, and I must say I liked that absence.I wish that WEWATCH would make a tripod with a choice of mountings such as direct to camera orthe quick connect feature.Nice tripod, attractive, sturdy leg braces, easy to take down for transport.It is extremely light in weight.I had no problem rating this a five star. If you want a really smooth operating light tripod for traipsing about or if you want something sturdy enough for the static mounting of a projector and are not looking tremendous strength then this is the deal for you.If my first tripod was so light to carry, easy to setup, good looking, and sturdy as this WEWATCH...those old fashioned features would have never been missed.

I misplaced my 20+ year old aluminum camera tripod and got this to replace it. I lamented that they probably don't make them as good any more. Boy was I wrong. This is very well built and has a ton of features I really like.You can remove the tray that has the screw for attaching the camera. Pull the lever, release the tray and then when you flip it over there's a D-clip that makes it super easy to thread into your gear. Once threaded and tightened, pop the tray back into the carrier and engage the flip tab you used to release it. The tripod then allows easy manipulation between landscape or portrait orientation.The legs easy extend up to about 48" in height. I think the only downside is also the upside: weight. The stand is very light. This is awesome for when you throw it in a gear bag. However, you might be a bit sketchy about having really expensive gear on something so lightweight. It's a tough call.I'm very happy with this tripod and I know it will take time to figure out all the different things it does. It is simple enough to just pull out, attach a camera and start and go. For example, you could get away with skipping my steps above to remove the tray...it's your call and you have options. You should buy it. It's a steal at it's price and great features.

I purchased this to use with my WeWatch V30SE projector and for the most part it's quite a nice little tripod. It has wonderful and sturdy adjustments and works perfectly when you don't push it, but even my tiny little V30SE fell over a few times while using this tripod and I didn't even really bump it or anything. If you have a small unit like mine you'll probably be fine, but don't use it for anything bigger.

I had previously ordered a projector stand that was not stable and fell over several times. This caused my projector to fall to the floor! Fortunately, the projector survived each fall. Still, I swore I would find a better solution. So I ordered this as a replacement.This unit arrived in great condition. Although I was surprised that so much of it is plastic. It doesn’t affect functionality as this is a very stable tripod. There are many adjustment points which allow for the perfect position of whatever you should choose to use this for.My favorite part about this stand is the quick connect solution. Basically, you can attach this small piece to your equipment and this allows for a quick connect/disconnect. It is a bit clunky at first…meaning it isn’t quite as smooth of a process as I hoped, but it does allow for a secure connection that does come loose.I am happy with this tripod. It has survived my house with two kids and a classroom full of students without falling over. Trust me, there were plenty of opportunities and it held strong. I am very pleased!
