Interesting and informational
Anyone who is interested in the conflict within Cambodia, the Cold War powers, and SEA overall will like this book. Battles, political corruption, Cambodian culture and social norms, and foreign interference are the meat of this book. This entire book documents the tragic downfall well. There are atrocities and other teeth-gnawing events described as expected along with the perspectives of everyday citizens. A nice blend of political, cultural, strategic, and emotional storytelling with strong sourcing. If you searched this topic out you won't be disappointed by this book.

Road to the Killing Fields
I could not put this book away. From begining to end. It is a must read. It covers so much of the 1970-1975 war within Cambodia. And, I will recommend this book to anyone who has an interest in the Vietnam War & Cambodia (under Lon Nol).
