Okay to start off, this bike in itself is a decently made bike. Now the problems being1.brake disks/caliper touching/scraping2. The battery being wobbly(normal to an extent)3. The front wheel brake not being applicable or the front wheel shifts4. Quick release not holding the wheel steadily5. Back brake getting worn out way too fastthe most important issues out of these are the quick release and the brakes. the front wheel should not shift to a certain side while braking and the quick release shouldn’t loosen after braking with the front wheel, these issues could cause dangerous problems and even fatalities. When I ride my metakoo I constantly stop and check my quick release, although I have fun I’m constantly worrying for my safety. and my brake pad is constantly being worn out because it scrapes the caliper(big metal disk), on top of my front wheel coming off I have to worry about my brakes snapping, or just being metal on metal.this bike is good for the price, but 100$ more could possibly be worth your life. By no means is this hate towards metakoo but fix these issues with your bike! I don’t like worrying for my safety more than I already do riding normally.*use this as reference if you’re thinking about buying the metakoo.*

if your set on only spending only around 1000 bucks in my estimation you get your moneys worth and more I tried every hill in Sudbury and made it up every single one of them If you don't abuse this e bike it should last a long time Everyone wants to know how far you can go on a charge Battery lasts a long distance and 1 more bonus is for an e bike the Metakoo is relatively light I ONLY HAD A WEEK NOW BUT SO FAR I LOVE THIS E BIKE Only flaw for me is I hate those skinny seats so for me personally I put a wider seat

Pretty good quality for the price, I’m impressed by the electric assist power. I’m small and short 5’3” and it is the perfect size for me but I would consider the bike on the smaller size. If you’re not looking to spend a fortune on an electric bike then this is perfect!

" Simple and fun "This bike delivers and does what it's supposed to do and More ."NOT"All the components seem decent quality and esthetically nice looking at first look !!!Just as good as the Expensive Bikes that cost 3 times the price NOT EXACTLY !!!They initially shipped me a defective battery with the sticker THORN INVALID . after i expressed my disappointment they agreed to ship me another battery ….Believe it or not they shipped me another THORN INVALID BATTERY ... and said someone was trying to sabotage their Business !!!and to boot the Hub Motor started to make a terrible Squeaking sound (AFTER ONLY 205Miles)when you initially start pedaling for about 2 seconds on #5 Speed no one could tell me what was the potential problem had to figure it out myself talking to an ELECTROTECHNICIAN ...They initially asked for a video witch i sent and they replied back said they would replace the motor but after seeing the video they said it was normal ??? the Manufacturer doesn't want to play ball with the distributor and im caught in the middle THAT"S THE PROBLEM ... So no more big ticket items from China im selling this bike at a loss to spend a little More and get a Much Better bike with SEREVICE / LOCALLY !!!

The media could not be loaded.  I followed every single step on the instuctions when installing the bike. But the front wheel brake disk kept touching the brake rotter. Which means that the brake is applied all the time just as what the video shows. I uninstalled the wheel and watched the instructions for several times just to make sure I didn't make any mistakes when installing the front wheel. I asked the seller for help but they just tell me to watch their installation tutorial...I finally fixed it by readjusting the brake rotter to fit the brake disk which I learned somewhere else. It's my worst buying experience on Amazon. Just imagine paying 1200 bucks to learn fixing bikes...

The media could not be loaded.  I recently bought a bike in the month of May 2022 and not even 4 months after I bought it, it was acting up. I would be riding the bike and the bike speed would jump from 20 to 7 to 19 and then completely die and turn off multiple times. I have contacted the seller and they have not been helpful at all...They have asked me to send them multiple videos of the bike and even send me a new display screen but it was already used and the display screen itself was left tied and hanging on my doorknob. Despite the number of videos I send them, they have not fixed the problem or taken the extra steps and would often leave me on read or ignore my text messages/email.It is extremely frustrating since I had the bike for less than 6 months and I have to reach out multiple times with no solution or anything.Save your money and the headache. Look somewhere else to get a bike
