There is NOTHING Like an Original!
The first coffee maker my Mom had aside from a percolator was the "Joe DiMaggio" Mr. Coffee. I have a retro microwave in the kitchen of my new home, and I just replaced my coffee maker with Mr. Coffee. It's got a retro look to it that puts a smile on my face, while brewing an AMAZING pot of "My Coffee." If you haven't tried that and you're a coffee lover, that and "Beard Vet" coffee is delicious, and not acidic at all!

No auto off
The coffee maker is great. You will need to buy filters. I’m just worried that I may forget to turn it off one day since it doesn’t turn off after a certain amount of time.

Great 5 cupper
Love this small coffee maker. My last one broke, and the carafe wasn't replaceable. It was an off brand. This was also a white Mr. Coffee and darn hard to find in a 5-cup.

I miss my old Mr. Coffee but this one meets my needs!

Simple
I don’t like it quite as much as I did the older model I bought 20 years or more ago (which this one replaces), but it’s about the best currently available if you’re looking for a simple, small portion coffee maker. The basket is more prone to issues than the older model, but again, if you’re looking for simple, small and reliable, then this is the one.
