Easy to assemble and seems sturdy. Have my 50lb kayak up there. No real issues, just when there is no load on them, makes a howling sound at highway speeds.

The product works well enough, but with just two Racks you can pick up a lot of vibration on 16' boards over 35 mph. If I was to buy again, I would get kits with 3 racks. The middle rack would help dampen vibration. However, this product is as advertised. It is working well enough for me, DIY home improver.

These bars come with a plastic bit that you need a hex wrench to get out. The problem is, these plastic bits are weak, and almost always come broken. Both heads of mine were broken off, which means I now have the joy of trying to find a way to remove them from their threading.I'm sure all roof bars come the same way, so there's no point trying to find a different set, these are fine otherwise.Heavy, sturdy, all the good things, just with someone's ridiculous idea to put these plastic bits in first.

The package arrived in bad shape; obviously mishandled by someone. The end of the package was broken out (had been dropped or set down very hard). The pad at the end of one tube was bent and powder coating was scarred. Nylon set screws installed to protect threads were broken off and difficult to remove so the permanent set screws could be installed. Other than these packaging and handling problems, I'm pleased with the sturdiness and cost of the product.

Rack system arrived quickly, however was missing almost all of the hardware. I went to the store to get remaining hardware with the list that came with the product, and purchased what was missing. When I got home to install, I found out the the sizes on the list did not match the holes drilled on the rack frame itself. So I had to go back to the store with the rack to fit test each remaining bolt. Once I did this, brought it all home and installed. Of the 4 screws that did come with the rack, 2 of them broke when I installed the rack. Back to the hardware store! Got the replacements and then finished installing. One thing I noticed once installing, is that the space for the floating bracket is very large, which means as I tightened down the hardware, the plate shifted out away from the vehicle. This means that I had to zip tie that plate against the frame so that it actually clamped on to the rain gutter of the car.This rack is a piece of junk. Solid metal welding, but what a pain in the ass to set up. DO NOT BUY

Very sturdy, easy to assemble, and install.

These work very will to hold our solar pans no rattling or sqeecking.

Heavier built than expected. There's a plastic set screw on the bars but there are metal proper replacements in the package as a heads up. Had to drill hole higher than the pre sets for my van but that was half expected due to how my van is shaped. So far very happy

Had to modify the clamping part as it didn't fit my gutter style - a few solid hits with a hammer and now it attaches well

The product arrived damaged. The packaging was not sufficient.We waiting to post a review to see how the roof racks held up over time.It has been a month and they are already rusting. We haven't even attached anything to them yet. The factory paint is just chipping off on its own.Today I went to undo the clamp bolts to move the racks closer together, and a 1/4 of the way through unscrewing the bolt it snapped and the head flew past my face.Just bad quality all around. Would not purchase again.We needed a cheap and easy solution to get us through a few months until we could get solid ones, and they haven't even lasted that long.Frustrated and disappointed
