I’m sure this is a good kit but you have to register and confirm and then i received 2 authorisation numbers. I would recommend registering before you need to as its quite long winded. Also the return of the kit is via UPS which in my area is not common. Postal return would have been far more convenient and give more confidence. Too early for me to comment on results

Great video instructions, easy to follow written instructions and well thought out box and return labelling. Results came faster than advertised. Easy to understand results and phone line to discuss if wanted.

Test done and posted. Because they are based in Ireland the package has got stuck in customs and shows no sign of being released. Unless you live in Ireland don’t buy. I’ve contacted them but after 2 days no reply. Waste of £69.

Make sure you read all the instructions first and write on any labels if required before starting. Everything that you require is within the box to take a sample but I must admit it wasn't the easiest thing to do but still I managed it. You then post via UPS and wait for results but in the meantime you meet to register and log I to the 'let's get checked' page first as this is where you will see any results. For peace of mind this looks to be a reliable test and something you can action yourself rather than trying to get an impossible GP appointment at the moment. You can then use your results as reference when seeing a GP if required but also the owners of the test will contact you should they discover something. At 50 years old, I do not qualify for the NHS testing yet but I have had quite a few bowel issues and operations in the past, so this gives peace of mind

I have IBS and opportunity arose to test this kit. It is difficult proving this kit works because this could only be confirmed if something was shown as an issue, and further tests prove this. I have to trust LetsGetChecked are trustworthy.The box has everything you need including postage to the lab. Activate the kit online before you start and get ready to use it on a Mon-Thur so a weekend doesn't get in the way. Put the enclosed paper sheets into the base of the toilet and do your business. I put a few more bits of bog roll underneath as, depending on the poo you will have, it may not float and you cannot get a sample where it has touched the water.Small tube, take out the lid which has a built in tool, rub some poo on it, put it back on the jar, bag it, write the details and get ready to send it. The preferred postal company is UPS and I did initially have trouble with the UPS website in that it defaulted to the US. Not LGC's fault. Arranged collection the same day, picked up and results came in within 2 days. Access via the website, all is good.I see that other reviewers are questioning why you would get one of these when you can get them for free from the GP. Thing is, to book an appointment with my GP is a pain in the....nice pun...and if you have immediate concerns and cannot get a GP appointment, then this may be the most suitable alternative.
