Best combination of monitor and a smart TV
The good:- Easy to setup. Use Samsung SmartThings application (if already using it). It configures the monitor automatically. Even it registered the monitor to my Samsung account.- Possibility to install applications such as JioCinema, Zee etc.- Sufficient audio for a 12x12 room- Brightness is good for a well lit room- Applications such as YouTube are well responsive- No troubles with monitor functionality. Display quality has no issuesThe bad:- Monitor function should have a button on the remote. Switching between applications and monitor needs multiple clicks on the remote. A painful point for senior citizens.- needs a little more time than normal monitors to start, but once used to it then no problems.

Good monitor in its price range
When you say smart then it should perform smart and that how exactly this monitor doesBuild : sturdy and perfectly build to stand on a table with perfect weight balancePicture: the range is dynamic and the Color scheme is perfect with a good dynamic rangeSound : decent for a monitor as that is not it’s primary jobSmart feature : much needed for wfh these days the Multi view is a bit doggy as it can only work with a Samsung phone but the inbuilt apps work perfectlyAccessories : the remote is small and handy similar to all Samsung tv remotes and the smart connectivity app works perfectly and replaces the remotePros : picture quality, build and performanceCons : 16A plug haven’t , Multi screen functionality working only with Samsung phonesCost : worth the money if you are looking for a monitor who’s primary purpose is to extend your workspace or laptop and add few smart features

Great with tweaks
First when I connected the monitor to my pc, and turned on the hdr in settings, the screen was dull. After tweaking a bit, increasing brightness in graphics card and turning on game mode hdr, the picture quality is a bit better than the 8 bit color. So the m5 monitor does support 10 bit hdr and low latency in game mode. However the settings are a lot and I wouldn't recommend it to someone expecting out of the box performance for hdr 10.However it is good enough and does the job for hdr effect and works with tv stick remotes too with fully functionality.

Good product for work from home users.
Being a smart monitor you can use it as a additional monitor and can be used for watching OTT platforms when you are stressed out with work with out moving out of from your work desk. Looks like you are working the whole day for others 😀😀😀😀, we hardly find some time for ourselves for watching favour OTT in family shared common TV , this will fill that gap 😁😁😁

Colour generation not synchronised with screen refresh rate
Overall ok, but screen refresh rate is a big issue. Also pixels size is not very good, visible with naked eye. Not able to create sharp image.

"Smart"
Made this decision to go for it for the following reason.1. A decent size monitor with reasonable clarity.2. Airplay feature3. Standalone capabilities as a browser and "Smart" stuff its called out for...1. It dint disappointed me in terms of size and clarity as it stand up to FHD with you supplement with write connectivity speed.2. Airplay was quite slow, as my monitor is placed far from the internet connection. the lag was evident while using the mouse and keyboard. I believe it should work better if its connected closer to the Wifi.3. Standalone capabilities are great. as it live upto my expectation. Smart thing feature is a boon. Not a bad choice when you are not a gamer, if you are looking for a decent monitor with some extra feature.
