This is the band to order if you have a black satin Apple watch. The color is, in fact, black satin with the small accent links being black gloss. The combination is very attractive. The width of the links that attach to the watch fit precisely, unlike a competing metal band that is wider than 42mm and got sent back.The double clasp mechanism on this watch operates a little different from other clasps and takes a little practice. Once you get used to it, it engages firmly and is comfortable against the bottom of the wrist. It also looks better because there isn't a large metal plate on the bottom of your band.Removal of the pins was a bit tough since they are sealed by a durable top coating that protects the metal finish of the band. It took a while to use the enclosed tool to force the link pins through without breaking the plastic tool or its pin punch. When you tighten the tool against the pins to push them out, it will look like nothing is happening and then they suddenly pop through on the other side. Use patience, a bright desk light to insure tool alignment on the pin head, make sure to push in the direction of the arrow on the link, and wear magnifying reading glasses for eye protection. They will also help in aligning the tool punch onto the link pin.I do think the plastic pin removal tool could be a little better quality but the band is excellent. It will add $500 to the appearance of your watch!

Bought the Apple Watch Series 3 with cellular function and was embarrassed beyond belief to find the $2 Velcro "Seashell Sport Loop" that came with the watch. I decided I wanted a Stainless Steel watch strap and selected the Leefrei based on Amazon reviews. The strap slides in easily to the Apple Watch and stays secure in the watch. The strap was slightly too big for me, so I used their included handy little tool to remove some links. It took about 3 minutes to remove 2 links and re-assemble. I did google "how to remove a stainless steel link in a Apple watch" and picked one to look at. They all seem to use a similar tool, and the few minutes it took to watch the demo took any doubt away that this was anything other than simple.The strap seems to have a nice weight to it...neither too heavy nor too light. Just right. The strap latching device works well and does not feel like it is going to go anywhere.This is definitely worth the $17 I paid for it. I have another style coming Wednesday and hope it is as easy to work with as this one was.

I’ve been using this band for a few months now and find that the clasp is pretty unpredictable and unreliable. Sometimes the clasps do not catch or come undone in their own while wearing. Oddly enough sometimes the clasps catch too well and I have to ask for help to take my watch off. Attaching it to or unattaching it from the watch face is often difficult since it comes out of alignment quite easily and gets stuck. Changing the band is often a challenge for this reason. Sometimes the band does not lock to the face either allowing the band to slide a bit while wearing. I do like the look of this band, matte black and shiny black but It is beginning to show signs of wear, silver is showing through on the edges.Update: after about a year of intermittent, not daily, use the clasp will no longer hold for more than a few minutes and is no longer usable.

The watch band is definitely of good quality! It goes well with silver or gold jewelry. The only con with the band is, if your wrist is very small, you might have to take out all of the links that are removable for a better fit.

Looks great. I am giving 4 Stars because I had trouble removing the links when sizing. I was unable to remove one of the links so it’s a little bit to loose.

I have had this band for over 6 months. I get compliments on it daily. It comes with the tools needed to size the band. Use the tools with common sense and it works perfectly. Awesome durability. I swap out the band every day with the sport band for my workout and then put this one on for work. Never a problem.
