Nature Made - Sam-E Complete 200 Mg. 60 Tablets 161750

I use this product to control depression. I have ramped up to 1400mg/day since I started taking it in March, so 7 months. I replaced prescription meds with this. It is working just as well if not better than the Cymbalta and Lamictal I was on prior. One of the benefits is the lack of withdrawal symptoms if I happen to miss a dose, which rarely happens. If you have ever stopped taking a psych med, you know how horrible withdrawal is. That doesn't happen with this. I'm never without it now. Very happy I made the change. It was the right choice for me.

I purchased these after my dog died I was in such a depression I did not think I was going to survive another day we had to put her to sleep she had a bladder tumor and kidney disease and came on suddenly and then I found out my husband’s shoulder replacement was all infected in his shoulder and needed a surgery right after we put her to sleep I just was so bad I needed help so I read about this and it took awhile but it helped in so many ways I cannot tell you how this has helped me. I take 400mg.and 200mg. I am so happy I have found relief

I was completely skeptical of this product and what it claimed to do. After less than two weeks, I went off of my NSAID medication because my arthritis is so much better. Also my depression and social anxiety (which was extreme and debilitating) is vastly improved. Better than SSRIs that I have been on because of the lack of troublesome effects. This is an incredible product. It came on a bit intense at first honestly (with vivid dreams and my brain having an explosion of energy), but has since calmed down.

This product seems to be working for me. I originally bought it at Costco, in the 400 mg strength. The 400 mg version was too strong for me, I think, as I felt some anxiety the first few days. I split the tablet in two, and felt better. When it came time to re-order, I bought the 200 mg version here on Amazon (this product). The product seems to be helping a lot; specifically I'm less prone to depression and seem to have a better focus and ability to get things done. I procrastinate less. After using this product for more than a month, I increased the dosage to 400 mg, and had no problems. Based on my internet research and my own experience, I recommend starting out with 200 mg and not 400 mg. Or, if you start out with 400 mg and don't feel well, at least don't blame the product before you tried a lower dosage. What many people don't realize is that although this product doesn't "accumulate" in the body in the real sense of the word, due to is half life, if you take 400 mg the first day and your body only utilizes, say, 150 mg - when you take 400 mg the next day you will have 550 mg SAM-e in your body. That's just too much for some people. I found it a lot better to start out at a lower dosage, see how it made me feel, and increase from there. Good luck!

I heard about Sam-e when it was recommended for my dog and I did some research online. Long story short, I started taking it myself as well. I'm a physician and wasn't sure what to expect. TWO EFFECTS1) My chronic low grade depression has completely resolved. Its like I have a new positive outlook on life. NO other medicine has ever helped me with this issue.2) This drug has improved my libido from a life long 1/10 to a 10/10, and I'm over 60. It is literally a miracle as far as I am concerned.The only negative effect if you want to call it that is I now just sleep about 5 hours a night. No insomnia, just rested and ready to go after 5 hours.The above is all true and written by someone who considers 99.999% of all supplements total BS.
