My intention was to buy after-ski boots therefore I wanted them to be comfortable and roomy. I was going back and forth with the recommendation of the size and at the end I ordered as recommended half size smaller. My mistake. The boots are somewhat small to my liking and even that I know that they will stretch, I do not believe that they will stretch to that size that will fit my tired feet in skiing socks after the whole day of skiing. No. I had to order half size up.Also, the shoes are made in China, the wool lining is Australian.Overall I really like those boots, they are of good quality and I know that my feet will rest comfortably in them after the whole day of skiing:)

Insertion of foot can be a little hard as there is no zipper etc. The fluffy lining is quite thick and can feel like toes are squished until worn a few times and lining is tamped down a bit. Overall, the boots are very warm and comfortable and should last many seasons.

I have bought several pair of EMU boots over the years. I love these boots, especially in colder months. They are SO comfortable. They fit perfectly, and I actually like them better than their popular counterpart, UGG. My biggest complaint with them is that that inside comfy padding wears down pretty quickly in my opinion. When you first put them on, they feel so soft and supportive inside. It seems that the soft and supportive feeling goes away quicker than it should, but maybe that's just me.

They are warm, waterproof, and so cozy that I wear them as house shoes in the winter as well as outside. The only draw back is they have stretched out and are floppy when I walk. I am due for another pair since I've had these two years. The craftsmanship is so good you can't tell that they are two years old. Oh and yes uggs insoles fit inside these boots. I might wash them and see if they will shrink some.

I bought these Emu's after a lot of research. Was very excited to receive them but very disappointed when I realized what I was sent looked like fake Emu's. They didn't match the photos online at all.1) The heel product label should be brown leather with special stitching. This was not the case with mine. It looked like a rubber emblem.2) The stitching was uneven at the top of the boot. This should never happen with any top-quality boot.3) According to the emuaustralia.com website, the insole should be removeable for the Stinger low boot. It should also have a molded heel. Mine did not.4) There was no Emu fold-over label at the very top of the boot, which is typical of this brand.So, sadly, my boots appear to be fake & I've notified Emu Australia directly that these were sold to me by this particular company (Fusion Apparel).Beware when purchasing.

I wanted to get UGGs because of their warmth, traction, and styling, but I did not like the price. I saw the EMUs at almost half the price on the Amazon website, and the boots had great reviews. When the boots arrived, I thought they were attractive and warm, but the fit was poor (I tried 2 different sizes) both for myself and my daughter. My foot slipped in the back, and the calf area was extremely loose. The smaller size was way too tight and hurt my feet. My daughter had UGGs, and I tried them on (same size as the larger EMU). They were much more comfortable. So, I sent all the EMUs back. I am waiting for a sale for the UGGs.

I really was looking forward to these boots but I had to return them.I have been buying boots like these for years. These boots were similar in quality and looks to the very inexpensive ones I bought from Costco for less than a third of the price!I've owned two pair of Minnetonka boots like these, both tall and short, for six years and just this year need to replace them. I did hours of research and found the Emu were 100% Australian, both materials and construction. I also read that they had arch support and were water resistant. Turns out that none of this is true. The reviews I read were years old.Now I understand these boots are made in China like the Uggs and don't contain 100% genuine shearling. I don't know what to believe anymore.This much I know.1. There was no arch support in the boots I received.2. The heels slip on and off with every step. Not a good fit.3. The sole is very stiff...doesn't bend at all.4. The leg opening is small...no room to wear my jeans tucked in.5. I normally wear an 8 1/2. I bought an 8 and my toe went all the way to the end. All my other boots stretched to accommodate but I returned these so I can't comment on these.6. The literature that came with the boots said to waterproof before wearing.To be fair, the recent reviews on the Minnetonka and Uggs aren't as great as they used to be either. Seems like the quality on all these boots have gone down and to China!Because I have had great experience with Minnetonka, I will be trying them again. I heard the soles have really gone downhill. I'll let you know. The Minnetonka I have are slightly better looking than Uggs, not as clunky, and have such thick shearling on the inside, they kind of formed their own arch support. The price is also much more attractive!On the plus side, the delivery and return went seamlessly. I was so impressed, I wish I loved their product!

I was trying to decide between uggs and these. I am very glad I chose to buy the emu boots!!! They are way better constructed than uggs. My sister has a pair of uggs and we compared them side by side, the emus have a better and thicker, supportive sole. The emus have a wider opening, so pants fit in better and they are easier to put on.

Good fit last a long time

履き心地もよく、ぬくぬくすごせるので寒い日は必ず履いてます。一番安かったので「マッシュルーム」という色を購入しました。ベージュでもなくブラウンでもない、よくわからない色なので到着するまで不安でしたがいざ使用してみると、やさしい色合いでよかったかなと思います。履いてるうちに、「たしかにマッシュルーム色だな」と思うようになりました（笑）

ジャストサイズ（24cmなのでW7）を購入しましたが、少々厚めの靴下を履いていたためか、試着した瞬間、かなりキツイなと思いました。しかし他店でワンサイズ大きいものを試着するとかなり大きく感じたので、とても柔らかい革を使用してあり伸びやすいことや、ボアが馴染んでくることを考えると、最初キツイというサイズ感で良いのかも…スニーカーやパンプスと違いサイズ選びが難しい製品ですね。
