Really nice item! Firm, yet not too hard for intended use. No pieces break off. We love it!

I’ve been biting my lip since I was 15 and now at 45 decided to stop. It has also translated to clenching my jaw for which I use a night guard & which in turn started affecting the health of my teeth. I started with these and it helped me to be aware of when I was compelled to nervously bite my lip. That awareness & having an alternative that I couldn’t swallow (as compared to gum or candy which doesn’t help because that’s a different psych trigger - food etc., the brain recognizes those things that we swallow differently) was essential to kicking the lip biting habit. I had tried to will the habit away before, many times over the years, but the physiological component is so dominant after decades that I needed a physical aid to kick it. I have gone 2 two-week stretches of success and I think I’m well on my way to permanently kicking it. That awareness step & physical component really helped. Plus frankly I think it looks kind of cool as a necklace. I would say it’s definitely not fun to chew, but as a tool it serves as a reminder to be aware of small habits. I would recommend these to anyone who wants to stop some annoying and potentially not so healthy oral fixation.

The design is very discreet and I love it! My son absolutely loves the texture and keeps my mind at ease knowing he’s not chewing on random plastic pieces. Easy to wash. He has it under his shirt at times too. When he chews it looks like a hook is attacked to his mouth which isn’t my favorite. But still better than before. Maybe we’ll choose a different design next go around.

Bought for an adult with anxiety. Helps reduce nail biting and late night snacking. It was important that it be stylish and not look like something for babies or a chew toy. Compared to other chews it is softer so it may not be suitable for agressive chewers, but it is holding up fantastically and looks brand new after several weeks of use. Also compared to other chews it has a pleasant but very mild vanilla(ish) scent. All the others we bought are sitting unused or trashed because they have a weird chemical smell when new or get a bad flavor after use. I have used many chews with many clients and this is hands down my favorite for older kids or adults. I wouldn't give it to young kids who may bite of pieces off and swallow it.

I really like that it's a small business family-owned. I love their eye for detail. They're fashionable yet functional. It really helps me from chewing on other things and calms me at the same time.

...needs to be medium hardness to be able to last. Like the other reviewer, my toddler bit through it within a few days.

My son is on the spectrum he had a Chewable from this seller however he lost it and it’s not available anymore. Got this one because it reminds him of the hook in Mona. He doesn’t chew on them instead he fidgets with it. It’s sturdy. And very well made he wears it to school and it still holds up

Bought this for our teenage son who has anger issues as it seemed to have the right balance of cool and usefulness and felt he would be ok wearing it - he seems to like it so far.Only suggestion would be that I had to remove all the packaging/labels in the bag as they were very 'young child' looking but that wasn't a big issue.
