Brita Small 6 Cup Water Filter Pitcher, 1 Elite Filter, Metro, White

Bought this to filter water for my cats. It really does remove the chlorine smell and “tap water taste”, it takes a couple minutes to filter, but it works well. I dropped it right out of the packaging and it cracked, but it does not leak, so its good quality!

This Brita Metro pitcher has been a better size for our family. The 6-cup capacity makes it much easier for the kids to handle without it feeling too heavy, and honestly, the larger version can be difficult even for me when it is full. This size is more practical for daily use, the water tastes good, and I like that it comes with the blue Elite filter, which feels like a better version than the standard one. Overall, it is a convenient and easy-to-use water pitcher for the whole family.

My wife did not like the smell or taste of the water at are new home and it's the first time she has had well water, and she says the smell is gone and the water taste better, I still drink straight from the tap and have no issue with the water as I grew up with well water

Works great mostly, I had water pooling in my fridge and couldn’t figure it out. Finally noticed 2 hairline cracks on one side that was very slowly leaking. I’m getting some tape to put on it. :(

If product does all that it claims (I assume that it does), very useful even if your water source is reasonably good. Use filtered water for coffee, tea and as final rinse of fresh vegetables. Note: plastic pitcher is fragile - don't drop.

My friend has a Brita filter that uses the cartridges you need to change more frequently. I liked it, so I bought this one with an elite filter. I like the idea I only have to change this only twice a year. It works well, with some limitations. The things I like is that it does make tap water taste much better, and the light is a nice reminder to change the cartridge, illuminating whenever you pour water from it. The cartridge on my friend's unit seemed to more tightly seal than this one. I noticed some water would drip down outside the filter because it relies on the plastic of the lid and the cartridge to form their own tight seal. You have to press this in VERY hard, and maybe try once or twice, in order to get a watertight seal. Also, I very much dislike the fact that you cannot change the battery in the lid. It works on a simple timer, counting down six months before telling you to change the cartridge. If you use your unit lightly, you should theoretically be able to have the filter last longer than six months (or maybe need to change it sooner if you use it a lot), but the timer doesn't account for that. Also, once that battery is dead, you either need to do without the timer or buy a new pitcher since you cannot replace the battery. But, it works well, so I still give it four stars.

1rst try. So far, so good. The water tastes MUCH better. Leaves a good, clean feeling in your gut.

This product could be faulty, either the filter is imitation or the indicator faulty.

Pitcher has very thin walls and was leaking when we filled it with water. It looks like a design flaw to us given how delicate it looks.
