Clear Formulas Sam-e 200mg Full Potency (90 Tablets) (S-Adenosyl-L-Methionine) Mood and Joint Support

I bought this for my dog, vet said not to exceed 200mg. I take 400mg and can say it works as well as any other doubled up, but, it has a strong odor.....that is generous......it Stinks! Dog would not eat it all with pill pocket, cheese, or peanut butter, just spit it out. Dog likes every other brand I have tried.

The Sam-e capsules for me are easy to swallow. All I know is what I read when I lookked up information on Google & the WebMD website. Which is not much information. I guess the European countries have been using Sam-e for a supplement for years. It has just recently been authorized by the FDA(?) for over-the-counter use here in the United States 🇺🇸.I will edit my review when I know more & can give you a little more personalized review of Sam-e.Cheers!

Peculiar odor--I have taken Sam-e 200mg before (another retailer) and there was no smell or scent emanating from the bottle. This brand has a very strong odor which I didn't like so, I discontinued taking them. Bottle is still full.

The smell of these capsules is so nauseating, it’s impossible to ingest one. Just opening the container stunk up the room. What a huge waste of money. Im very disappointed it’s not returnable.

I got the pills for my elderly dogs. I don't know if they are any better than the other ones I have used but they are the worst smelling pills I have ever had to deal with. They make the whole drawer where we keep them stink and the dogs keep spitting them out.
