The radio is everything I wanted. Good sound and flexible. My main problem was with the manual. My approach to manuals is to ignore them if I can but if not dive in to the section covering what I am trying to do. This didn't work with this manual. The instructions take the form of a series of pictograms made confusing by including both the button pushes on the radio and the buttons on the remote. Add the fact that you need a long press on the menu key to start and confusion reigns.When you sort it all out it is quite straightforward. Long press on menu, up or down arrows to find the option you want and press select. Continue until you have done what you wanted to do. Note when setting the alarm you come to a screen with solid and pale boxes running across the body of the screen. This is the volume. Press select and move on until you get an "Alarm Stored"

Great for listening to stereo dab+ radio stations, volume a lot lower when using blue tooth or Aux modes, even with volume on devices set at max.If, like me, you intend using it primarily for listening to radio stations, I'd recommend it.

Although this unit is big, it's excellent quality. The sound is excellent. I was expecting good quality sound as other reviews had commented on how good it was but it actually exceeded my expectations. It's easy to use and having a remote control adds to the ease of use. Love it!

Bit large and bulky for what it is and the sound is only ok. Channel search and preset is way too complicated and Bluetooth will not work whatever I try. I would avoid this one and go for another.

This gigantic radio has a remote control! It is the first I have ever seen with a radio! The sound quality is amazing! It has FM, DAB and DAB+ channels! It is mains operated only so it can not run on batteries! It has at least 20 presets stations! Enjoy, buy British!!

Very good product especially at this cost. Quite complicated to set an alarm (6 or 7 steps). Although you can have one setting for weekdays and a different setting for weekends. I chose this after much research. DAB reception is pretty poor in my area but I still got a good number of stations with the telescopic ariel, although it is placed in front of a window. The remote is especially good with direct access via the number keys to the pre-set stations.

I am really impressed with the sound quality and depth. The streaming function works well too. I have a Roberts stream 93i already and whilst the Roberts unit is great as well as being more compact....sound quality and especially the streaming function are noticeably better on this unit.....for fraction of the cost of the Roberts. Really pleased with this purchase!
