The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars (50th Anniversary Picture Disc)

Not opened the album yet, it is a birthday present for my Grandson. It looks in perfect condition.

This years picture disc it s quite the stunning collection. The disc itself is a wonderful front and back replica and inside you get the original inner sleeve, double side printed on a piece of paper. You should know that picture discs are not high quality recordings, so don’t expect that. But it’s still listenable and still represents David’s defying moment in music. For all the great records he ever made, before or after, Ziggy Stardust is IMHO, still the pinnacle. I believe the half speed remaster is a quality recording so maybe I shall get that too.

I have played this record, a major LP in the history of British rock music, on my record player, and it plays perfectly.

Not the best of sound quality with this picture disc. Parlophone you must do better.

Disappointing sleeve quality

This aesthetically is wonderful but the sound is oh so bad, I honestly turned it off after a few seconds of the classic Intro to both the album & it’s first song ‘Five Years’ as it was hissing so loud I missed the quieter drums of the classic Intro & I thought to myself ‘I Can’t Listen To This!’ & ‘WHAT!?!?’ I was & still am appalled by the sound quality & it’s certainly the worst thing I’ve ever heard & I had a neighbour who fell asleep with a horrible Hardcore music track skipping away on the same segment of a song & it was better than this!It looks beautiful & it isn’t over priced but it should be advertised as an ornament as to ruin that classic Intro alone was/is a crime!I didn’t listen to the rest & I haven’t as if they couldn’t get the sounds right on that critical piece of music the rest will be just as dreadful that just makes sense as it’s not going to get any better.

This was for a Christmas gift and it came in perfect condition! Came with everything and my partner loved it!

Es un volumen para coleccionistas que ya tienen otra versión del disco, o para aquellos que disfrutan no solo la música de Bowie sino todo el arte alrededor. Si tienes un nuevo reproductor de vinilos y quieres empezar tu colección, este pondrá la vara muy alto. ¿Vinilos negros? Para que si puedes comprar un picture disc.

Picture Disc, 180g e possui encarte. Belíssima edição. Tive problema com o primeiro disco que recebi, possuía um pulo na segunda faixa do lado A. Solicitei a substituição e rapidamente a Amazon me enviou outro em perfeito estado, tudo certo.

Ben fatto e all'ascolto non ha difetti come successo ad altri. Confezionato in 2 cartoni separati, 1 adatto alla spedizione di vinili ed 1 esterno per una protezione maggiore (ho ricevuto una decina di vinili da parte di Amazon con gli angoli piegati). Se volessi essere un po' pignolo, penso che il mix necessiti un po' più di frequenze basse (cassa della batteria e basso elettrico), ma questo è un giudizio personale. Tutto sommato bella edizione con vinile picture disc, poster e testi.
