Mesmerizing Wind Art
The media could not be loaded. I really enjoy this wind spinner. I had a very similar one for several years, but a recent thunderstorm destroyed it. I was happy to find this nearly identical spinner as a replacement on Amazon for less money than I had paid for the original. So far, I am delighted with this new spinner. The instructions that ship with the unit are vague assembly diagrams. However, I do have a few tweaks that I made to mine to help it spin better and withstand exposure to the elements longer.I achieved the best spin with the least wind, by allowing a small amount of play in the bearings. To do this, I installed the inner hex nut that holds the spinner in place backed off about 1/16 turn from touching the bearing. I then install the outer hubcap and then tighten the acorn nut down firmly to hold it in place. Also, the best spin in a light breeze occurs when the entire top can easily rotate to point the blades directly into the wind. To allow a light breeze to turn the head, I applied some wheel bearing grease to the top section of the pole before mounting the head onto the pole. (This grease might need to be cleaned and replaced once in a while.) With the grease in place on the pole, the slightest breeze can orient the head to point into the wind which helps to start the blades spinning sooner. Finally, the unit that I received looked like the blades had flattened out a bit during shipping. Being very careful not to break the unit, I gently put a very slight twist (only a couple of degrees) in the blades to get form a little more of a fan blade or propeller shape. You can see from my video, it spins quite nicely.I also protect my yard art from rust and fading by applying a rust-proof clearcoat spraypaint in either matte or semi-gloss. I then follow up a few days later with a coat of clear UV resistant sun guard spray. Nothing lasts forever, but this seems to help my spinner collection survive the elements a little longer, and it helps to delay fading or rusting. All in all, this is an excellent spinner for the price.

Needs high winds
The media could not be loaded. I’ve had this for about a month and it just doesn’t catch the wind very well. It’s going to need a lot of wind to spin. I have another right next to it and it has no problem spinning. Wish I kept the box cause I would return it.

IT IS HUGE AROUND, BUT VERY PRETTY.
IT IS VERY LARGE, BUT I PUT IT TOGEHTER, AND INSTALLED ALL THE SCREWS AND WASHERS BY MYSELF. I PUT IT IN MY BACK YARD BY THE FISH POND, SINCE WE SPEND MORE TIME BACK THERE, AND ENJOY THE WATER FALLS AT THE POND. IT LOOKS GREAT IN MY YARD.

Spinner would Imply that it Spins
The Spinner is Beautiful---As a staionary piece of ArtworkModerate to Heavy winds and all It does is turn into the wind--No Spinning !!I disassembled and re assembled the Spinner making sure not to over tighten the nuts which hold the spinner to its frame/pole..Still wont spin in the wind. This is not my first Spinner-but I must say my worst KINETIC piece.I have reached out to the sellers customer service dept. and to date I have not recieved a replySpinners should Spin..Maybe the approaching Tropical Storm will motivate it!!Beautiful pice-of stationary artwork

Gorgeous
We purchased this for a flower garden for our child to enjoy, and it has been enjoyed by the entire family. The colors are bright, and the 360 degree spinner makes it mesmerizing when spinning. All parts were in the packaging and it was very easy to assemble. I also like that the center ground stake has three outside spikes also, which makes it very stable and stands up to any wind. All the pieces are powder coated and very well made so I think it will last for years.I actually got online to purchase another one of these for my brother when I decided to do this review. Buy it, you won't regret it.

Not stable for price
I have had several spinners, most of which are stable and worthy of the price. This one however is very wobbly, the pole is too small in diameter to support the heavy top, and all round not worth the price. I feel I will have problems in the long run with this spinner. I live in a windy climate and even with the plumbers tape on the sections, I doubt it will hold up. I do not look fwd to dismantling the top which I tightened down securely, or I would send it back. I am on the 3rd season on my previous spinner but I am hoping for at least one season on this one. I have learned my lesson on this one. If I ever open a spinner again and see such a flimsy pole with only one prong going into the ground, I will pass it by and send it back.. If you do not care about the above, go ahead and order this one. To me it is too top heavy for the pole to handle.
