These are very nice. They are well made. Thick strong plastic. They look sharp. They are perfect height and depth. They are a strong dark black not a faded black. I will put ferns in these and on porch. Perfect for porch. Box came a bit dented up, but don’t think these could even get damaged they are tough looking. Love them

I had ordered and returned a cheaper set that were very lightweight and had a thin flimsy shallow insert. These are molded plastic but they are well made. I put some rocks in the bottom for extra stability. I love that the insert is adjustable, it's not easy to move up and down but honestly it shouldn't be as to avoid slipping. I have it pretty deep to hold the ferns steady and that will be helpful to hold my boxwoods this winter, or I can can make it more shallow if desired for other plants. The design is classy with a more high-end look. I would buy again.

I purchased two planters for several reasons: because they were the right height and width, self-watering (I love them for this), the fact that they matched my front door (jet black and paneled design), and they are light weight so I can move them about if I need to. Even with the bottom of the planter filled with water, I wanted to make sure they would not tip over in the winds we have here so I put half a bag of pea gravel in the bottom just in case. We have received many complements on them already and the plants get all the water they want without me having to remember all the time ! I do not expect them to last forever but if I get three to five year I am a happy camper.
