Great knife
Really nice filet knife. The serrated side is great for cutting through tuna skin. Handle feels good and provides great grip while using wet.

Great addition to my fishing gear
This knife is sharp, and cuts from both edges. It appears well constructed. I am particular, both about cutlery are gear, it is the to work, and does it well.

Cool knife works well
I bought this basically to try the "tiger edge" part. The serrated part. Given it's on the curve of the knife it makes the serrated portion very nimble and you can be more precise than you'd think. I used it cut through the skin on tuna and even at the top shoulder where there's a very hard scale like area it did a great job.The only negative I would say is the actual straight edge is not particularly sharp out of the box. It's sharp enough so not worth a star and it took about a minute on my 1000 grit diamond plate to put a considerably sharper edge on it.I don't really knock knives that aren't razor sharp out of the box because it's kind of irrelevant to me. The factory edge will only last so long and I'd much rather have a knife that's easy to maintain and sharpen than one that's scary sharp for a brief period right when I buy it. This knife is easy to keep sharp.

Dual edge knife = wear fillet gloves
I like dexter knives and have a few others, but this was my first dual edge dextreme. I like that it comes with a sheath, really just a blade guard, but it makes storing the knife easier. Handle is nice and a definite upgrade over the white handle dexter knives. The knife is sharp right out of the package and I expect it will be similar in quality to the other dexter knives I have.I used it for the first time last night and I wish I had worn my filleting gloves. The dual edge seems like a good idea until you forget about it. I went to push the tip up over the dorsal fin of the fish and sliced my finger pretty bad.So giving a fillet knife 4 stars because i cut myself doesn’t feel right, but I’m just not sure the design is safe, at least not for me.

Bad Ass!
This knife is totally wicked. It's very sharp and cuts through fish bones almost like butter. Easy to hold and plenty long enough to not have to make several cuts. Great job Dexter!

Looks good
Seems to be a quality knife. I haven’t used it yet. I will try to update when I do. To whoever said this comes sharp, that’s not true at all. This thing hardly cuts paper lol. I’m assuming this is for safety and the knife will sharpen up fine given what it’s made of, but I will also update on that when I get the chance. The blade seems flexible enough for a good fillet but rigid enough to withstand a little punishment. The handle feels a little thick for my hand. I may should have went a size down, but I doubt it will slip being made from quality material.

QC MUST SUCK !!! update!!!
After watching landsharks videos planning to do some shark fishing a month and a half away (along with just plain ol surf fishing ) I seen what I thought was the best of the best ... i was wrongThe rubber over mold is sloppy and hanging offI'm afraid after use it will just tear awayThe sheath had to be forced through the 2 tabs of plastic I guessing are meant for retention .And lastly the bottom of the blade towards the handle I'd ground off ...I'm still going on the trip ... I'll probably still take this knifeThe packaging was not in the best shape when it came inWith that in mind I've got a bubba on the wayI'll update as to whether or not it's an actual knife meant to put in work or just a bench warmer 6/9/2310/5/23The knife is amazingThe tiger edge cuts through anything you'd ever want it toAfter using it I am 100% satisfied with this knifeThe only thing I would change is the option for aftermarket sheathsThe one it comes with actually isn't that bad but it's lackingChanged my rating to 5 stars from 2Would for sure recommend
