Pieces do not click together.
Even though I had a few picky complaints when I first opened the box, large pieces, pieces already stuck together, creases and lifting, I quickly became distracted since this 500-piece puzzle is more challenging than it looks. With unique cuts and corners that do not assemble like usual, you will find yourself in deep concentration mode.I ended up not being impressed with this Springbok. I know people swear by them, but I do not find the quality exceptional. The pieces do not click together as advertised, and there were times I had to force them with a thump from my hand. For sensitive people, there was a great deal of fine dust.Sorry, I fell for the hype. Springbok will not be on my next puzzle-shopping trip.

Strangely shaped pieces don’t fit well
Some inside pieces have straight edges & a lot of the pieces fit really oddly.

Pieces not clearly cut
The pieces are not clearly cut so they do not go together as easily as they should. Some pieces were even frayed. Maybe from disassembly after it was cut. I've never had a springbok puzzle before, and I will not again. This was a gift during convalescence the past couple of weeks. You can kinda see how the pieces are not fitting in the picture. Would not recommend. 2 stars because I was able to finish it, only.
