MerrickPurrfect Bistro Grain Free, 3 oz, Turkey Pate - Pack of 24

Product is used for four cats ranging from upper middle age down to about a one year old. Three male black cats and one multi-colored female sister to the big black! My cats over about eight years have been fed only Merrick Brand; this after checking with the local pet store that I use here and in my last Home area. They rated Merrick at/near the top of a five-brand list. I know the Merrick Brand is expensive and now more-so at the end of 2019. I wish "someone" could really tell me how good it is. I know that all their coats gleem and they run and play more than past cats of mine. They have Nature to look at from the inside with massive full-height windows in most areas. We have deer/fox/raccoon/ hawks/buzzards/crows/you-name-it to occupy when required. All my cats know what days they get the Pate; they love to hear the pop of the lid and all but one, eats the pate far to fast! Can't say whether another Brand would satisfy them, but they truly love the Merrick Brand there is no doubt!

I have two diabetic cats and needed a grain free food to feed them. What I like best about all of Merrick's Purrfect Bistro Pates is that they mix well with water. I find that cats would rather lick up their food then bite into it, especially if it is cold. I mix warm water into the food and mash it up until it is a liquidy paste. All cats, not just diabetic ones, need a good amount of water into their diet so mixing into the pate food has worked great for me and this Merrick pate food mixes really well. Some foods will just gunk up and not blend with the water, too much fat in it perhaps but not this food. Mixes into a nice slurry that my cats clean right up. I have had my cats on this food for many years and their diabetes has been well managed on it. I also give them PureBites for a healthy snack and Stewart Fiber Treats as one cat has had anal gland issues (not related to this food, she is just old). Merrick makes a good product, their dry food is great too.

Our cat is getting fussy and particular in her old age. There have been various cat foods that she'd eat for awhile and then simply refused to keep eating, the duck version from this same brand being an example. But for some reason, this is one she still likes.

Cat just loves this food! In case the manufacturer reads these reviews, I will say I wish it was a little moister. I have to add water to it for the cat otherwise it dries up too quickly. But I'm buying a case every three weeks so that has to tell you something about it! super product!

All of the cans were totally dried out and my cat won't even take a bite. Seems like it's only the 3oz turkey that has this issue. The 5.5oz turkey and other 3oz flavors seem to be fine.
