Perfect coat for cold weather

very heavy and suitable for cold weather , looks exactly as shown in pictures , a little bit bigger than my normal size but accepted. cannot know about durability and quality till used more , washed or being subjected to rain.

Over the past 12 - 18 months, I've purchased an a very large amount of flannels; shirt jackets; henlys; hoodies; all by Legendary Whitetails.They have become my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE brand. They are such a much better quality than any other brand that it frustrates me that I didn't try them sooner.Today, this coat arrived and I couldn't be happier. When I made the purchase, I really wasn't 100% certain what I was going to get, as far as the weight/warmth. But I've been blown away by everything of theirs that I've purchased, I was pretty sure I wouldn't be let down.A) Size: I am 6' 3" and bounce between 225 - 240, depending on the time of the year. Thankfully, LW comes with tall options. I tried it on with just a t-shirt, and there was plenty of room. My point being, I would be wearing a base layer or even 2, when I wear it, so the fit would be perfect.B) Weight/Warmth: My body thermostat has run high all of my life. It takes some pretty cold temperatures, and me being in them for an extended period of time, before I was to bundle up. This coat, to me, would be a Winter coat. It's VERY warm. It has a solid weight without being cumbersome. I'm aware not everybody has the same likes/dislikes of cold weather, so someone could easily wear this in Fall temps.In short.....It looks amazing.......It fits perfectly.....It's extremely well made.....and you can't beat the price.If you're on the fence about whether or not to buy it, just do it. You won't be disappointed.

I love this jacket! I am 6 foot and around 150lbs and the med. fits me well. The sleeves are about an inch longer than you'd ordinarily be used to, but that could be for guys with wider shoulders than mine--I only mean that literally. The fabric is excellent, just beautiful and of a quality exceeding the price.

As a pretty big fan of everything I’ve bought from Legendary Whitetails, I can definitely add this jacket to my list of go-to items for the winter. It is soft, warm, and PLENTY big enough (like every other LW item I own). After a full winter with it, it’s a keeper! It has held up just fine and has proved to be a great jacket for layering. Even Golden Retriever hair seems to not attach itself too much. Now, when it is REALLY cold out, I grab my arctic-level down parka, but for the rest of the time, this jacket over a down vest will see you through most everything else.UPDATE: I ordered this jacket 4 years ago tomorrow. A week ago, the zipper malfunctioned and will not stay zipped. This is incredibly disappointing, because I still like the jacket, it has held up well, and it’s now pretty useless in cold weather. Legendary Whitetails REALLY needs to upgrade to the gold standard of YK zippers. 🤬
