Excellent product and service. Had an issue that was quickly resolved by the Happybuy; Thanks Happybuy! In the box is the compressor, capacitor and the 4 rubber vibration mounts. Does not include the filter/baffle or pressure relief valve. This compressor has a brushless induction motor that requires a starting capacitor; these types of motors typically last a long time; no connection instructions are included. The description does state this is a "replacement", so it is packaged as such. Great deal and excellent price. The compressor has 4 wires, a pair of white wires for the capacitor; the other two, black & white are for 110VAC(Hot & Neutral); for safety ground the frame. My use is for a vacuum chamber. Pulls a vacuum of about 25 in.Hg. Running this with a filter/chamber it runs quiet...about 67db. Again many thanks Happybuy!!!

I ordered the compressor thinking it put out 4 CFM as the Ad Title indicates. After ordering, I started to look closer at the specs and couldn't find its flow rate or CFM listed anywhere, which I found odd becasue that is the measurement for all compressors like this. The only thing I found was in the Q&A, someone assked and the answer given was also misleading. The compressor arrived with absolutely no directions for wiring the capacitor, which I found odd. When powered up, it is much louder than comparable Harbor Freight Fortress compressors and doesn't but out more than 1 CFM max and thats giving it the benefit. I would guess. about .8 CFM. I powered it up again today and let it run for 20 minutes when I could smell that it was getting hot. I turned it off as I plan to return iit. It was definately hot, ran loud, had minimal air flow, no air filter or directions and no response from the seller when I inquired about air flow. I am sending it back and buying the Fortress.

I purchased a similar pump for about three or four times the price of this one. I noticed how much similar this pump looked to the one I had bought and ordered it. It arrived and was identical to the more expensive pump but I had to install a plug, hook up the capacitor and buy and connect brass fittings, all which were inexpensive and very easy. I have a small vacuum chamber (about 3 cubic feet) that vacuums to 25 hg in about 4 minutes. This pump is rated as continuous duty for 20,000 hours.

This pump was used for a vacuum press to laminate cabinet doors. I used it on 5 projects over the course of a year. It was used with a vacuum press kit from "joe woodworker". The kit has a vacuum switch, mac valve and vacuum reservoir combination that allows it to run for 15- 20 seconds every 3 minutes or so and keep a reliable vacuum. This is a pretty small duty cycle. Total time on the press is under 60 hours which means the pump ran a total of 10 hours before it died.

Now a few weeks since installed, works well for Ozone injection into water. a fraction of the price for similar products even if you can find them. Units is fairly quiet and vibration free.

I set this up to work on external catheter and it workes beter than the one that came with the unit at 1/3 the cost I tried a oil vacuum pump but it produced a oil cloud in the room The muffle did not come with it also the two white wires go to the condenser the other two go to a/c plug.
