It doesn’t matter if the printer is a Canadian product, it works fine in the USA. I live in Texas & once the printer was connected to my Wi-Fi there was no problem with printing. The easiest way to install the printer was to take the photo of the QR code located in the manual. Once I did that on my IPad I was prompted to download the Canon app. After getting the app just follow the instructions - very easy.If you go to the website to install the printer, scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page & change the country from USA to Canada then input the printer model and follow instructions. I gave it 4 stars because changing the country should have been located at the top of the web page & not at the bottom (better yet why not default it to access all the models regardless of country) & because the seller didn’t list it as a Canadian product, luckily I noticed it on the box.

Fortunately, my son came in to put the printer together for me and he had quite a time getting it working. It seems to me it should be simpler, especially for a senior citizen like I am.

It worked for a month or two and then lost the wifi signal. We van't get back on. I get an error message saying the printer is in use. No one has been able to help.

The printer is a nice inexpensive option for users who do not have a high frequency for printing or a need for high quality. Very easy to install and operate. However, the cartridges do not last very long. I have had my printer for about 6 months and I have gone through 2 sets of cartridges. Replacements are around $50.

We replaced an older modal Pixma with this TS3420, and found the setup to be a much simpler process once we realized that this was a Canadian product--and not US. Why does that matter? Well, during setup we could not find our model (TS3420) in the list of supported models. As far as we could tell, this model didn't exist. Finally we found a link at the bottom of the page which when clicked allowed us to change our region from the US (where we live) to another region (where we don't live). A quick google search of Pixma TS3420 revealed that this was a Canadian model, so we clicked on Canada and--voila--the TS3420 was listed! From there setup was smooth on both our mobile devices and our computers.Hope this helps other US purchasers of this TS3420 printer.
