The disc is NOT region free and is not suitable for UK Blu-ray players.
I am deeply disenchanted with Amazon UK's handling of "Everything Everywhere All At Once," a film that deserved far better than what it has been subjected to. My issue isn't just with the product but primarily with Amazon's business practices surrounding this release. The decision to restrict this Oscar-celebrated movie to Amazon's streaming service, without a UK DVD or Blu-ray release, is a glaring example of corporate self-interest overshadowing consumer choice. This exclusive streaming rights acquisition seems less about sharing a cinematic masterpiece and more about leveraging it as a tool to swell Amazon's subscription base. While the streaming quality was indeed below expectations, it's the principle of the matter that is more concerning. The move to withhold this film from a broader release, especially in a physical format which many still prefer, feels like a strong-arm tactic to funnel viewers into a subscription model. This approach not only limits accessibility but also feels like a blatant disregard for the diverse preferences of movie enthusiasts. This strategy by Amazon UK, in my view, is an anti-consumer move that serves only to pad their bottom line at the expense of the film's wider appreciation and accessibility. It's a disappointing and frustrating precedent, suggesting a future where film distribution is more about corporate gains than cultural enrichment and consumer choice. In summary, while "Everything Everywhere All At Once" is a film worth watching, the manner in which Amazon UK has chosen to handle its distribution is a textbook example of corporate overreach, prioritizing profits over the art of cinema and the preferences of its audience.

Multiverse of Madness
Evelyn is living a fairly quiet life running a laundrette with her family when an interdimensional rupture unravels reality and a multiverse of possibilities. She must now call upon the skills of so many paths not taken to fight an unseen force that has taken on the form of her teenage daughter who she already had a strained relationship with before she became some kind of inter-dimensional super being.Dr Strange claims to be in a Multiverse of Madness but he perhaps needs to spend five minutes in Evelyn's world which is completely and utterly bonkers. Led by an alternate version of her husband she slowly learns to harness these new found powers to prevent the collapse of reality at the hands of Jabu Tupaki, currently in the form of her daughter. The film is colourful, looks stunning and is one of the most unique and bizarre stories committed to film this year. I admit, it wasn't always easy to follow what was happening on screen because so much of it just comes out of nowhere like a random flash of genius / madness but it's just best to sit back and enjoy the assault on the senses. Michelle Yeoh was superb leading the film, at times playing lost and confused at the madness around her and at others embracing the chaos to fight the good fight. The film funny, moving, ridiculous and action packed. It's perhaps a little too long given the concept but watch it, it's unlike anything else you have ever seen.

4k US Import Disc Review
As it's weirdly not available physically here in the UK, I decided to import the US version. Thank goodness 4k discs aren't region coded, and double thank goodness that all the bonus material is included on that disc, as the Blu-ray itself is coded region A, and my Panasonic UB9000 wasn't having any of it (I've read that supposedly stopping the disc and launching it by pressing "top menu" works for many discs, but I couldn't get it to work). The 4k image is perhaps a little soft, but looks pretty great. Dolby Vision enhances the picture greatly, and unlike what I've read about the European 4k disc, doesn't have any "too dark" issues. Audio is also top notch. The film itself revels in often being utterly ridiculous - watch out for "Raccacoonie" - but has a lot of heart. I wasn't sure I was going to like it, but it really grew on me, so I knew I had to get a copy.

It came as Region A - but it says PAL - how does THAT work AND it is DUFF - STILL can't return it
Bought this a few months back and it's been FAR too bright to watch it - until today, thought why not?Why not is that it says it is Region A - BUT THIS IS NOT MENTIONED IN THE LISTING.(Listing actually says PAL - since when did Region A work with PAL not NTSC???)Now I can rip this to watch, but the whole point of buying this is to watch it - not sit watching my PC churn through re-coding it.Too late to send it back too - pants!EDITSo sat down to watch this halfway through (butt part if that means anything) it stops! In my opinion it is a duff disk.I buy a >>>LOT<< of stuff from Amazon (lazy, I know) and you'd think I'd get some slack for NOT being a "chancer" and send me a replacement - they can have this one back, no problem! But for the same reason I can't return it, maybe I'll query it with them......Amazon - go to the naughty corner........

Amazing Movie
I absolutely adore this movie. Saw it in cinemas 3 times. It’s crazy, so much can happen in a short space of time which is the main concept of the movie. It’s all over the place like how most of us are. It’s a very heartfelt movie about a mother learning to understand and accept her daughter who is not perfect, which is at first difficult for her but she soon realised that she is not perfect either and that perfection is not real. I really recommend this movie to everyone, I feel like everyone can relate in at least one way to Evenlyn (the mother) or Joy (her daughter) in one way or another.

Great Movie
Must be watched several times to get all the subtle and overt nuances. Every woman has felt like the main character at some time in a life well lived.
