Neither the original nor the replacement work on my Microsoft 64 bit system. A red light flashes briefly on the car/ mouse and that is it. Neither worked on my newer Dell laptiop either. I did upgrade the USB and mouse settings on my main computer (but Microsoft are years behind with drivers) and managed to get one USB port to recognise that there was a mouse. However, the cursor did not move. I will give one to a friend to test and keep one back for a newer computer, thereby giving the seller the benefit of the doubt. I don't have a printer which makes returning stuff via Amazon impossible. By Royal Mail it would be about £3 on top of the £11 I paid for the item. Not worth trekking to the next village when I am isolating. They are actually just a bit of plastic nonsense.

Two purchases of this model, different suppliers: both failed because the AA battery dislodges the POSITIVE terminal electrode, causing non-contact and failure. (Sort of) repaired one after dismantling it, and (partly successful) resiting the electrode, using epoxy resin.Is this what a customer should be doing? Literally, in the first week with second purchase!AN ATTRACTIVE NOVELTY - but redesign at manufacturing is ESSENTIAL.

Its a real shame I really like its looks and usability but it started to go wrong after a couple of weeks. Randomly the sensitivity goes up and down during use. No idea why but one minute it tracks across the screen at light speed the next minute like a turtle. Goes to sleep to save battery which is good but rarely wakes up functioning. the buttons will work but the sensor that captures movement fails to come back unless you pull the battery. should have spent a bit more money I guess

Started off great...worked as I imagined it should. However it has stopped working overnight. I replaced the battery and the movement sensor light flashes on (red) and then goes off and does not respond.Hope the seller contacts me as I like the product - but clearly need it to work.

I have now bought two of these, one from this supplier and one from another supplier. Both have power, but none of them work with the three windows 10 (all HP) laptops we have. Very disappointing :(
