Discreet, room for two cameras...
I used this on a European vacation and removed the padded insert. I did this so I could carry two cameras: a Nikon D40 with a wide angle zoom mounted and a Nikon D3100 with an 18-200 mounted. The fit was snug, but it easily carried both cameras, in addition to a small note pad, a pen, extra battery, extra memory card, lens cleaning wipes, and an Galaxy S5 in the side pocket along with a passport and an international driving license. I stacked the cameras on top of each other with the bodies at opposite ends. This was the best fit and the cameras didn't slide to the side. Pretty easy to place the 18-200 around my neck and pull out the wide angle when needed. Both cameras will fit with the padded insert inside the bag, minus the two padded spacers. I needed to pare down my weight, plus I needed to fold the bag flat to fit in my overhead bag. The padded insert does not fold well. It doesn't look like an expensive camera bag, which is a plus. I wish it was just a bit bigger and had a water bottle slot on the side, it would then be perfect for my needs.Yes, I could have switched between lenses, but that is a pain in a crowd like the Palace of Versailles. Much easier to just wear both cameras and capture the room with one and objects with the other.Another plus is that some museums do not allow large bags, so this small bag fit the bill. If the museum does not allow bags, I would have worn both cameras around my neck and folded this up and put it in my cargo pants pocket. Yes you can fold (roll) this up so it is smaller. I worn the bag cross body as it rode a bit better with two cameras inside. Not a bad bag for what I needed it to do. I'm positive it will be making more visits to Europe with me in the future.

Great as a Lunchbox !
Another very well made case by APE.Though I am not sure how so many reviewers fit a DSLR w/ short lens, spare long lens & battery charger in it.I wanted an APE case that would be able to carry my DSLR w/ 18-75 lens, a 55-200 telephoto, 35 super wide and battery charger.Since I also have the dual battery/grip I needed something that would handle 5x5 and figured I would fine.Maybe tight but could leave the battery charger behind...The bag is reported to be 10x7x6, both in the specs and in reviews. But the 9x5.5x5.5 inner cube tapers to 8x4 at the topI can't get the camera/lens/grip and the battery charger in let alone the larger lens.NOT AT ALL APE's issue except for possibly more accurate dimensions. The bag is VERY well made, has two bidirectional zippers at the top. There is a zippered pocket on each inside face, which when behind the cube are nicely hidden. The front pocket is great with a zippered mesh pocket and a couple battery-sized pockets.Mesh pocket would the only place for memory cards and it is too large for that unless they are in some type of case.Easy Peasy to adjust the strap through the padded/rubberized shoulder pad.I am still not exactly sure where I want to keep it yet - high or low on my back.I ride a motorcycle to work year round so I love the ORANGE bag and I needed a great lunchbox !(Though I didn't know it).So after ordering a larger case, I used the cushion panels act as an insulated inner "lunchbox lid".I LOVE this bag - now waiting for Prime delivery of the next larger case(sadly only available in navy)LW

Great little camera bag!
Note: I haven't actually used the bag extensively, since it was purchased specifically for my upcoming vacation, but I wanted to review it just in case my two cents could be helpful to someone.I wanted a smaller sized bag to hold my Nikon DSLR camera and lens for my upcoming vacation in Greece. Based upon the reviews I read here, I made the decision to buy this one. Like several of the other reviewers mentioned, the bag doesn't scream CAMERA BAG (i.e. valuables inside) like so many of the other camera cases/bags do, so it will be less conspicuous when on vacation.( I will still keep the bag on my front side, however, to prevent pickpockets.) There is plenty of room for my camera, lens, extra battery and battery charger, with enough space left over for my cell phone, keys, etc. The strap seems very secure and the water-resistant outer material seems like it would be okay if I happened to get caught in a rainstorm. I really like this little bag, and so far, I am quite pleased. I will run it through the paces at the end of this month (August 2019), so I may update this review upon my return from vacation. Thanks for reading and feel free to ask questions. I will do my best to answer them.

What I was looking for!
I wanted a multi functional camera case that did not scream out " There is a camera in here." My favorite thing is the available colors, I love the bright orange. because of the color it looks like a regular bag until u pull the camera out. The material worked well @ a soccer game that got rained out. I was able to get all the way down several fields & to my car with a dry camera. The inside has pads that can be placed where u need them. I can fit my Nikon w 180 zoom inside with room for my phone or thin accessories or I can take The Fuji S9000 w the 28-300 lens & still slip my phone & my cool pix Nikon in the sides. There is also a decent sized pocket on the inside for memory cards etc. Outside pockets are roomy, larger area has zipper mesh pocket , two square pockets that could fit cards / batteries etc.. plus I can get my phone & keys in this area also. Smaller front zip can hold a small wallet or phone. The only downside for me is the shoulder pad. I am short & prefer to carry the bag across my body, if I tighten the strap for my perfect fit , the pad is not in a useable spot. I actually removed it . other than that I love it. It is the bag I have been waiting for someone to make.
